Webbers Estate Agents has room for improvement based on customer feedback. Customers particularly appreciate professional and service, though some mention concerns about communication.
This was a shot in the dark for which estate agents to choose and so glad I did. From the first telephone call through to the last they were brilliant. Friendly, helpful, accommodating and went out of their way to help a stressful situation a lot easier. May you were brilliant / thank you - highly recommend
Many thanks to Holly and Annabel at Webbers Launceston branch for quickly finding new tenants for my rental property. Vetting of potential tenants seemed thorough and I was kept informed of scheduled viewings. Final outcome very satisfactory.
I made a good offer on a property in Launceston, showed them proof of funds and ID and patiently waited for the vendors reply, only to be contacted by the agent by phone 3 days later saying they wanted personal details about me, my life and my family. Intrusive, inappropriate and rude. I am waiting for their privacy policy disclosure statement. I would not use them or trust them again.
Webbers Barnstaple (Sophie and Lucy) were fantastic and very quick to respond and help! They are friendly but professional. Thank you for making our move happen so quickly, 6 weeks!

Really unprofessional, agents are very rude, both in person and on the telephone, we rent privately with a different agent, they are selling the property we are in. If we don't agree with us turning down a viewing time, they contact the landlord who contacts our managing agent who calls us to pressure us to take the viewing. Its childish and really annoys me. I have mobility issues and it takes around 3 days to clean ready for a viewing, having explained this they still act like children.

Do not trust this Company. They falsely describe property, in terms of its age and the specific conditions of sale, and when you get their agreement to the fact that they are doing so; they say they are going to change the wording in their marketing brochure - amd one assumes online also ... but they never do! Very underhand practices!!

Have recently bought a flat in Ilfracombe through Webbers. All the staff I interacted with were professional and friendly. I would particularly like to thank Jo Norman for the afternoon viewing properties. Couldn't have been more helpful and a font of information about the area. Took a while but purchase finally completed.

We recently sold our flat through Webbers and they all made it effortless and fairly stress-free. Communication was great and they liaised with Risdon Hosegood Solicitors again making the whole process a lot easier. On the actual day of moving it was a very easy transition and we both felt all went smoothly.

Beware if you intend buying through Webbers. They seem quite happy to let the Vendor get you all the way through searches and surveys and then allow the vendor to pull out only to let them re-introduce the property at an increased value a month or two later - leaving you picking up all the expenses. Oh! and if you challenge them it’s always the vendors choice/responsibility!!!! They don’t seem to mind picking up the extra fee though.

Please be careful when you using Webbers Letting agency in Bideford. We were very good tenants for nearly 2 years and when we moved out, the Manager from this branch threatened us with court cases and legal battles to retain full costs for decoration of a property that had fair, wear and tear over the years. We brought up several notifications warning of damp pillars on the roof, leaked bath through the floors and carpets which were outdated. This is the tip of the iceberg. We suggested to meet half way in terms of costs, but he wouldn't have it and threatened again with legal proceedings. We were left in a corner requiring our deposit back, as we had just had twin girls so the deposit was urgently required to purchase equipment for our babies. His emails we received from him were devastating and shocking to say the least and felt cornered to pay the full sum of money. I have never experienced such forcefulness and there was no integrity with this situation. Please do avoid and be careful.

After driving 90 miles to view North Curry(Taunton) property we were informed by home owner that there was no booking and they were going out. Webbers did nothing but lie, we were so say booked in for 11am, waste of time and effort, never again, even had the gaul to say they emailed us(no emails from webbers)
