Easy communication

Lets start with the good- The pay was fair, the information received on the load was complete and accurate. Here are the issues we had that ended up in a 2 star rating- For some reason macro point wouldn't download on for my driver. As the dispatcher I knew this before he ever left the shipper and communicated that with Matt the broker. Throughout the load I updated Matt periodically with where the load was up to and including this morning when the load was scheduled to deliver. Even though I had spoken to Matt to let him know that the driver was indeed onsite delivering this load, he continued to call stating his customer wanted to know where the load was. I told him specifically that I had spoken to the driver and that the cargo was being offload as we spoke. I further tried to explain to him that the receiver had some issue with the wording on the BOL but got past it. I conference my driver in to help explain what the issue was that the receiver was telling him regarding the BOL and instead of trying to hear and help with the situation Matt decided to scold my driver for not tracking or answering his phone. My driver doesnt text nor answer the phone when he is under a load until he gets stopped. As a company we do not obligate them to talk to anyone as we track our load and update our brokers especially in a situation like this. I tried to call Matt back to smooth things over because Matts conversation with the driver went sideways and instead of having a professional conversation with me who was sending updates periodically on the load, he decided to get upset, tell me "This is stupid and a waste of my time. The loads delivered." Then hung up. I did the best that I could communicating with Matt given the circumstances and can back it up. I am sorry if Matt feels like he has to babysit every driver. I can assure you that he didn't have to babysit this one and received timely updates. Its unfortunate that he talked to me and the driver the way that he did. If he wouldn't have then I would have probably not even done this review..

Haven't had any issues always answering questions and no problems with pay. Everyone I've spoken to has communicated well and always been honest that goes a long way with us drivers.
Carrier arrived at destination on Saturday March 25th for a “strict” delivery time of 7 am on Monday, March 27th. Carrier was contacted multiple times before pickup and at pickup emphasizing the strict delivery time of 7am. Receiver was unprepared for delivery and the unloading of the materials did not occur until 11 am on Tuesday, March 28th. Even though we were provided minimal compensation, we have lost wages due to the need of cancelling next booked loads. The broker was unprofessional and did not accept any fault.
