Travel republic "claims" to have a holiday generator to help you find the perfect next holiday. great I thought - I've travelled all over the world and not sure where to go next, I'll give it a whirl. I clicked to start answering the questions, so the site could recommend something for me. The first question is "What type of holiday are you looking for? beach or city". Well, I'm actually looking for exploration and adventure, but I clicked one of them just to get me to the next question. The next question is "Who will you be travelling with? Partner, family or friends" Guess what - I travel solo. I stopped the questionnaire there as clearly, despite claiming to offer a "holiday generator" they haven't a clue about the range of people or holidays out there.

A very quick reply, I booked a balcony room only to have the confirmation that some rooms have a Juliette balcony where u cannot sit outside so I am disappointed as if I had known I probably would not have chosen this hotel; and to cancel it will cost me £20 ; so I am disappointed on this occasion

Really disappointed with the service from travel republic I booked a holiday and made an error on one of the names and it’s been a week now and I still can’t get any answers as to if they can change the name or I have to cancel and rebook but the flights are much more expensive now. I’d recommend booking with someone with better communication as all they say is we will get to it before you travel!!! That’s a joke!!

So easy to book and get all the info you need. We’ll definitely book another holiday with them

Fantastic price. Great communication. Informative at all stages of booking and travel. Makes paying easier with an option to spread payments or you can pay all at once. I use travel republic at least 1-2 times a year and have done for years.

Good experience

After booking a holiday with Travel Republic I realised that I had picked the wrong dates, unfortunately this was late at night and I had no way to correct the dates, I spoke to a representative the next morning only to be told that the airlines had increased the flight costs by £258, I asked for time to see if we could use the dates I had chosen only to call back later and be told the price of the flights had increased to an extra £420 which made the holiday totally unreasonable having now cancelled the holiday I am £454 out of pocket, with all the business that this company does with the airlines you would have thought that there was more leniency with genuine mistakes, I know it was my fault to start with but I tried as soon as I possibly could to sort this out but to no avail, extremely disappointed and will not use this company again.

This would have been 5 stars. Rehan was excellent in his approach and he put together a very competitive quote and emailed it quickly. The negatives. When I called him today it was incredibly noisy. I could hear very loud children and an ice cream van blaring its merry tune. My pet hate is those working from home and that’s partly why. Secondly whilst he paused the recording whilst I was giving bank details you undoubtedly should have in place a system that allows me to tap in my number, it’s antiquated that you don’t in this day of repeated fraud.

We got a great deal on a holiday to Mauritius. Paul who helped with the booking was extremely helpful and always called me back when he said he would. I am a wheelchair user so need certain things in place, but everything was sorted by Paul. We have sorted everything that is needed and I feel happy that everything is in place for my forthcoming visit to Mauritius. The holiday was a lot cheaper than the equivalent on the TUI website, so we feel like we got a great deal.
