I didn’t need to make a claim so I can only speak to the sign up process and policy. I found the process was easy and clear. The level of cover was quite comprehensive and the cost was good value in comparison to other insurers I looked at. I would definitely choose travel protect again.
Was so simple. Minimal stuff to fill out and very cheap -- half the price of most others. I bought a policy for my 85 year old mother and her 85 year old partner. If you're looking for cheap travel insurance for older folk, than this is the one.
They seem to have a sensible policy regarding pre-existing conditions and were prompt in everything but I did find the $50, or thereabouts, penalty for what was essentially a typing error a little harsh.
