The guide Max was great and informed us every night of our plans for the next day. Hotel was in a great location and food was great.
Travel Dept.has come up trumps again. We have travelled with them for many years now and have never been disappointed. It is a very professional and efficient company that always delivers.

Our second holiday with Travel Department as we knew from previous experience, that from the moment of booking you can relax and know everything is taken care of. A leisurely 7 night holiday with 3 leisure days. The included tours were excellent and our guide Carol looked after us very well. Hotel Bazzoni was comfortable and we enjoyed the half board meals. We had a balcony facing the lake and enjoyed watching the activity on the lake. Would recommend Travel Department for a holiday to Lake Como.
A long walk from bus to Florence and back in very hot weather no plan b it's not company fault there a heat wave going on Letting us know train disruption on the bus to hotel on the 1st day there not 2days later Too much emphasis on tiping bus drivers guides it's not Anerica Hotel lovely staff very helpful rooms clean The guide in Florence very more emphasis on new toilet in the city than anything else round in cycle I couldn't find my way back to cathedral again Giving you maps out on the day instead of a day before so you look stuff up and book I'll still be going with you again

I went on the solo trip to china which was fantastic travel department did everything it said on the tin from meals to trips the group i went with were small only 15 and each one of them was a delight to spend time with and chat to plus we had some great laughs along the way all the 3 hotels were beautiful finally the guide jack was a pure gentleman nothing was too much trouble for him and his infomation about china was imense plus he had a great sense of humour and joined us with the many funny moment we had on this trip if you want to see china i can not recommend jack and travel department enough

The group of people that I was with more than have of my group had traveled with The Travel Dept. before. They were all so welcoming we all ended up eating dinner in our hotel every evening as the food in the Naxos hotel in Sicily was fabulous amazing choices of main courses and desserts. Also the wine was gorgeous and your glass was always topped up. I did venture out every day for lunch. Beautiful weather.
A good variety of garden/houses visited. Bus driver was excellent.
We had a wonderful holiday on the Rhine and Moselle river cruise. The organisation and communication from the Travel Department was first class. I can highly recommend it.
We have just returned from Puglia. Cannot pass up the opportunity to comment on the brilliance of our guide Alessandra. She is the best guide we have ever had. Her knowledge and passion made it a great holiday. She went over and above her required role, eg. helping us on days not included in the tour itinerary. Doing all extra guiding without once looking for credit. Many thanks to her. A very Special person.
Really well looked after, from all the tour guides, bus drivers, hotel staff. Very relaxing and enjoyable experience getting to know some of our fellow travellers.
Really enjoyed this solo trip, China is a real feast for the history and culture. Hotels were excellent amazing food, for all meals with lots of choice. Itinerary was good, although it would have been nice to spend more time at the Llama Temple. Sometimes so much to see and not enough time. Definitely recommend to anyone wishing to go to China. My second holiday with Travel department, I will be using them again. Our guide was superb and we were well looked after.

Our guide Annalisa went above and beyond to make our holiday memorable. She looked after us incredibly well - her knowledge was amazing. The staff at the Hotel Brione looked after us like we were family. The front of house,, restaurant, and cleaning staff were all so helpful and friendly.
