Very economical prices. I have ordered cakes here many times and everything is always super delicious.
The difference between the Tortuga Rum Cakes and other brands is the moisture. I have tried the others but always come back to Tortuga because of how moist they are, it makes taste far superior. These cakes are heavy so when sending them postage can be a bit pricey. But if you want a unique gift it is well worth the extra cost.

Love the rum cakes. Biggest problem for me is availability. If I travel to USA I get delivery to hotel no problem. If I order from home , the delivery is more than the rum cake. I sure would like to find a way to get them to Canada.
I first tasted these cakes when I was in the Caribbean. The taste of rum is very present, they are soft and moist, and you just want to eat more of them. Very good and worth the price. A special treat as a gift or for yourself.

Wonderful and great tasting cakes.
The cakes are AMAZING but the shipping costs are simply horrendous - sent cakes as gifts and the recipients had to pay more for postage and import duties than the cakes were worth. It cost me a fortune, I will never buy direct ever again - it didn’t matter which market (I shipped to Canada, UK, France and Australia, everyone had to pay. Don’t buy direct EVER!!!

I LOVE Tortuga Rum Cake! The original rum cake is my favorite. While vacationing on Grand Cayman I purchased the original rum cake in a small Mom & Pop grocery store. It was so moist and flavorful. You could taste the rum in every bite. It was Heaven! It is sold locally in in my town of Pueblo, Colorado at a department store. You can also purchase it online at the Tortuga Rum Cake site. The online site has much better prices and frequently has discounts on multiple cake purchases. Depending on the dollar amount you spend, free shipping is offered. The cakes freeze well. I purchased some for Christmas gifts and they were a huge success with my friends and family. Whenever I have a slice of Tortuga Rum Cake it takes me back to my family’s vacations in the Caribbean and makes my day. Be aware, this cake packs a punch with rum. No, you won’t become inebriated but the creators soak the cakes in a generous amount of rum. It’s just a wonderful tasting cake which I cannot get enough of. Give it a try. I love the Tortuga Rum Cakes! My favorite is the Golden orginal. I recently tried the chocolate and it was good also! I would highly recommend them. I also love the fact that they are sealed well and stay fresh for a long time!

Never received the order, and shipping is bloody expensive.
It was a while ago but I had trouble applying a standard discount code to big order going to numerous different addresses. I hammered through and gave up the discount. I figured they'd be friendly since I must be like a VIP. Couldn't even get a lousy reply. Then weeks later I got an automated response, issue closed. Terrible service.
