Bought these for trail hiking and they've been fantastic. Excellent grip and the wide toe box prevents blisters on long hikes. They do take some breaking in time though.

The minimal cushioning was too extreme for my needs. While I can appreciate the craftsmanship, these just weren't comfortable for my daily 5-mile runs. Ended up returning them.
