The company was very slow to pick up and pack the items. One item was damaged in their warehouse. After 2 months I am still waiting for a response from their insurer. Communication from The Packengers is slow and inadequate when there is a problem. I would not recommend using their service despite the process for receiving a quote being fast and efficient. They are good at taking your money, but poor at resolving issues

When it comes to packing items perfectly, the Packengers do an excellent job. I have had them ship around 15 antiques to date from France, Italy, Belgium, Spain, the Netherlands, Germany the UK and NY, and they always arrive without damage. I am always impressed by the quality of the packaging. Prices are not inexpensive but they are also fair in terms of what other companies quote. The negative aspect is that they can be very slow. Usually, I receive the shipment within 1-2 months after purchase. I have learned to be patient, but the ideal solution would probably be to hire more people at the warehouse. Usually, the items take 1 week to pack after arriving and then 1-2 weeks from packing before it is shipped out. I often email to ask when the "ready to ship" status will change to "shipped" and customer service seems able to get it moving again, but the Paris warehouse can be a bottleneck in terms of processing.
Une prise d'ordre rapide, une attente raisonnable pour la collecte, un emballage d'une (presque trop) grande qualité ... et une information régulière de l'avancement du processus. Ce serait PARFAIT, s'il n'y avait pas la DESASTREUSE délivrance. Livraison annoncée entre 08h -13h, nous restons l'arme au pied [un créneau de 5h, c'est, déjà, peu admissible]... pour être averti à 15h55 que c'est remis au lendemain !!! Le lendemain (à 12h50), plus question d'être livré, et faut aller le chercher DEVANT un magasin qui assure le relais de Chronopost ... SINON nous devrons aller le chercher à partir du lendemain dans la ville voisine !!!! Là, distribution à la camionnette !!! Nous nous exécutons, mais voilà tous vos efforts qualitatifs ruinés !!! et une partie de notre colère se retourne vers vous, responsable du choix d'un sous-traitant si peu professionnel.
L'emballage de la livraison a été soigneusement préparé pour que les 2 tableaux ne s'entrechoquent pas. Tout est arrivé à bon port. Toutefois, j'ai dû piquer une grosse colère contre Chronopost qui n'a tout simplement pas jugé utile de me prévenir que la livraison était annulée, la veille. J'ai attendu 5 heures dans mon appartement, alors que Chronopost savait pertinemment que le paquet n'avait pas été chargé dans le camion pour la livraison. Le lendemain, j'ai obtenu une tranche horaire d'une heure pour me permettre de quitter mon travail et réceptionner chez moi le paquet.
Un retard sur la livraison mais toujours très bien dans l'ensemble. Un tarif parfois élevé au vu de la prestation.

J'expédie des articles à l'international depuis des décennies, mais c'est le service le plus efficace et le plus simple à utiliser avec lequel j'ai eu affaire. Je le recommande vivement.
l'emballage exterieur nickel, par contre, il faut aussi emballer et caler les parties en cristal à l'interieur...

Convenient in that it is easy to organise a shipment but the packaging could improve. There should be more soft material for gilded objects. Usually there is some damages for fragile items when received by this company
