From my first telephone conversation with Kayleigh, I was at ease with her. I found her to be very professional, polite, extreamly understanding and shown empathy towards me whilst taking my statement. When I requested for additional details to be added this was not a problem for this to be done. It was apparent that her focused was to provide a first class service, which she did. I was completely unprepared for the questions that were asked. I was told I needed to do nothing prior to the phone call to prepare. Because I didn't write anything down it felt more like an interrogation. 12 months has passed so to remember the events of that day isn't feasible. I had to wait over a week for the email from sds. Being put on the spot like that isn't fun. The third party had him two children and a mid teen in the van with him. His works van with only three seat belts had four people in it and I didn't even get the chance to say that due to the bombardment of questions. Using a works vehicle socially would have probably void insurance if he's using it for things other than work. I only had a forward facing camera. You could see three males exit but then when we exchanged details a little girl got out the vn also.
