DO NOT BUY FROM THIS WEBSITE I purchased a wetsuit and all though I followed the instructions provided the wetsuit ripped when trying it on for the first time. They refused to refund me, saying I had made alterations but offered me a new wetsuit if I paid another £60. Makes no sense. I chased and chased and didn’t get any replies from their customer support team. Must have sent 20 plus emails. Would not recommend any purchases at all. They wouldn’t refund me and I had to fight just to get my ripped wetsuit back. They basically kept my money and my wetsuit for 6 weeks. Shocking customer service,

Terrible customer service and exhausting refund process
I had a genuinely faulty pair of trainers that were clearly not fit for purpose — worn less than five times before falling apart. Despite the manufacturer (Puma) accepting the issue under warranty, Start Fitness repeatedly refused to issue a refund, offering only a gift card or replacement I didn’t want. It took weeks of back-and-forth, escalating the issue, and involving card issuer I finally received a refund — and even then, no courtesy email, no apology, no confirmation that it was being processed. Just a vague notification after all the stress. They contradicted themselves in emails — admitting minimal wear, but claiming it was “normal wear and tear.” I’ve never experienced such poor customer service and lack of accountability. I will not be shopping here again, and I’d advise others to be cautious — especially if you think you might ever need to return something.
