Bored of chasing Sodastream for refunds

The product is great but the system is really bad. I always have to chase chase them that my cylinders have been returned to stop them charging for them. and chase for them to actually refund the money they took. Really had enough!

i am giving up on sodastream

i am giving up on sodastream. i just can’t deal with them any more. today was the last straw after years of struggling with impossible user interface for ordering and constant snafus with my exchange or subscriptions. they don’t honor returns for exchanges, you can’t manage subscriptions through their site, the whole thing isn’t a good value but it is a massive headache. it just isn’t worth it, i will be retiring my sodastream when this cartridge runs out.

It was good for a while but then one day I was making a bottle and the supposed “tested for safety” Co2 cartridge exploded in my face, I luckily dropped to the ground and shielded my face when I heard the pressure growing increasingly. Very dangerous and could have injured me seriously, I also got it all over my white ceiling and kitchen.

Soda Stream Lost my CO2 Cylinders

I have been a soda stream customers for many years. I opted for the mail in exchange for CO2 cylinders. I placed the order and placed my empties by the mailbox in the apartment building on the day of delivery. I tracked the delivery with Swiss Post. Swiss Post indicated that they were delivered, but I checked immediately and nothing was delivered. My empty cylinders were still sitting by the mailbox. I contacted Soda Stream and they did nothing. They simply stated that Swiss Post said that they were delivered so it's my fault now. Horrible customer service. Thinking about not using them anymore.

Can't be trusted with your credit cards.

Started a subscription and placed an order. They charged us twice. Contacted customer service and was cut off. Called on a Friday business hours and there was no answer. We were told to refuse the delivery and were also told which order number to refuse. (Like it's right on the box?) I had to research the USP tracking numbers. Our delivery people usually leave packages on our doorsteps. Now I have signs on the doors telling UPS to inform us they are there. This was supposed to make things easier!? They can't be trusted with your credit cards! Looking for alternatives to this company.

Absolute failure to deliver. Lied to.

SODA STREAM AND THEIR COURIER DIRECT FREIGHT EXPRESS. Ordered some products.. no reply or notification of despatch for 4 days.rang to see .. told order was still In warehouse. Told them to cancel it.. they agreed as products had not left. I ordered some where else. 5 hours later receive email saying package had just been collected by courier. I rand said I don't want it you agreed to cancel the order etc. They said oh it had already gone.lies. email notification by courier said was collected 5 hours after phone call ... had the time of pick up in it. Days pass no refund no product. Ring again ..oh well we have to escalate it... I've had enough by now.. clearly they are just ripping me off. I try to chase down package myself. Find it in DIRECT FREIGHT EXPRESS in Adelaide. We live 654 kms away in port lincoln. Guess what... they don't deliver here. Rang soda stream again ... get passed around and they say it will be delivered ..I reiterate ..I don't want it.. I want refund. No. You have to take it... ythey then tell me I need to collect it from the depot....!!!! So at this stage 1 week later... no refund ..no package.. soda stream doing nothing... DO NOT USE SODA STREAM OR DIRECT FREIGHT EXPRESS AT ALL..EVER.

advised i bought a used product

advised i bought a used product, which did not come with a cylinder. ordered a cylinder and flavors on their website. recently charged for the cannister , paid it, wanted to cancel as it i cant use it as it broken, they wont let me cancel. i have no subscription so why can i not cancel. ridiculous

Two orders in a row they claim I did…

Two orders in a row they claim I did not send back cylinders and charged me. Both instances I sent them back, in fact the second order I sent back 1 extra cylinder and they claim they were one short. Either they can not count or they are systematicly ripping people off. Either way, I am done with them.

Zombies refuse to let me speak to a manager

They refuse to let me speak to a manager. I'm in Mexico and don't speak Spanish, and people should know that in LATAM they don't believe in customer service, they believe in (well figure it out). Not to mention they aren't ever bright. Anyway, after trying to purchase from Soda Stream Mexico and my emails being ignored, I started to reach out to the US. Every time I spoke to them (you do know they were bought out by evil Pepsi right?) they REFUSED to let me speak to a manager and just kept (like the brainless robots they are) repeating the same thing over and over again. I called Pepsi head office, they were rude and didn't care either. Finally I got a manager at customer service after trying to get the head office to help me. She got someone to move their (fill in the blank) at the Mexico division. The guy was nice and understood some English. I finally get my order, but then I can't figure out how to use it. It's not the same unit I had overseas which was much better. Instead of the guy telling me how to work it, he wanted me to return it right after I got it. ??? Why would you want to refund money when the customer obviously WANTS the item??? Why can't you help the customer? That's YOUR JOB!!! I emailed him & he ignored me. sigh I finally figured out how to work it, but then it didn't taste like there was gas in it. Then the device started making HUGE LOUD noises. Clearly something to do with the gas as I push it down after 20 pushes because the bottle is much larger then it was overseas. I reached back out to the US to speak to that manager and she's no longer responding. Instead I got brain dead zombies who ONCE AGAIN, refused to let me speak to a manager. Pepsi soda is toxic, and so is their customer service. They have ZERO videos on how to use the machines. Overseas they called me and walked me through everything and I was up and running within 10 minutes. Oh, and when I first got the machine, I couldn't find the replacement container. It was hidden in the back of the machine as IF I'm supposed to know that. SMH

Wir hatten den DUO knappe 26 Monaten, nach 23 Nachfüllzylindern aus denen man je ca. 25 Liter Soda machen kann (bei den angeblichen 60 l können sie gleich das pure Leitungswasser trinken), ist ein kleines Plastikteil gebrochen. Es gibt keine Ersatzteile, keinen Reparaturservice. Ich kann das große Kunststoff tlw. Metallgerät nur wegwerfen. Die Basisausrüstung kostet im günstigsten Fall € 100, jeder Zylinder € 9. Monetär rechnet es sich nicht, für die Umwelt aufgrund des Wegwerfgerätes auch nicht. Was bleibt ist eine gewisse Bequemlichkeit, da man keine Flaschen schleppen muss.

Thieves

They charge you the cilinders even if you returned! keep the tracking numbers if you decide to buy from them but I dont recommend buy from them but I dont recommend it!!

Site mensongé à fuir ! Ils disent sur leur page française qu'on a 30 jours pour faire un retour, je les cites "Vous n’avez qu’à nous contacter dans les 30 jours suivant votre achat et nous vous enverrons une étiquette d’expédition prépayée pour retourner votre produit." J'ai demandé un retour au bout de 3 jours, ils refusent de m'envoyer une étiquette de retour et me disent que c'est à moi de prendre en charge le retour ! Honteux

Sodastream guy William was a legend

Called the help line and was on the phone with support within 2min. Amazing compared on being on hold forever. Found the order straight away. Had it sorted and a confirmation email sitting in my inbox in all of 5min. Best customer service experience I've had in a while.

SodaStream is ok.

SodaStream is ok. I've had their older push to sparkle machine and used it so many time it wore down and stopped working. I purchased an automatic one and had no issues. Few times I interacted with support it was fast and issues handled quick. And the exchanges and flavors had always been in stock when i went to buy them. No complaints from me!

Poor Customer Services

I called customer support to get assistance with my Art Soda Machine, which I purchased approximately three months before calling support. I explained to the first agent that water pours over the spout when I push down on the handle, causing water to go everywhere. The agent sent a link to connect with me virtually to show him what it was doing. After a few attempts, we managed to make it work by holding the lever for no longer than 3 seconds. I told the agent that I would like an exchange, as I believed this issue would likely happen again. However, he denied my request and asked me to try it a few more times. He said if it still gave problems, I should call back and they would provide an exchange. I followed his advice and tried it a few more times, but the issue occurred again, despite my best efforts. I sent an email with a video to SodaStream to show them what was happening again, but once again, they stalled, saying that they did not have an explicit video of the problem. That was not true. You could see what was taking place with the machine. Long story short, after a few more calls and emails, I had to fight with them to get an exchange for the machine. When the manager agreed to send the new machine, they sent me a refurbished SodaStream, which still does not work efficiently, so disappointed. I have to hold the bottle tightly in place to make it work. At some point, the SodaStream machine will be tossed in the trash! Poor customer service and I would not recommend this company or their product!
