Always kept us updated on progress. Online website very easy to use, fill in forms, upload info. Easy to see where you are at in the process. Excellent website.
Very efficient
hardworking, diligent, professional, helpful. Always available for updates
The team especially Lauren made life easier and less stressful. Thank you very much.
The whole experience from start to finish was smooth and easy. The process allowed us to keep on track of what we needed to do and answer questions and respond to both solicitors and estate agents in a single update saving time. We were assigned Emily who was exceptionally helpful and on hand when we needed to keep things flowing making the process less painful. I would gladly use the form again when I next need to move.
Hayley and the team have been great, pulling off our sale very quickly before the 2025 tax year. The team have been very easy to contact and are very responsive, which is very much appreciated. Absolutely recommend them!
Speed efficiency excellent communications whole sale process so easy
excellent!
Selling a house from over 200 miles away could have been really difficult but I had a good, professional service every step of the way.
Amazing service Danielle is the best. start to finish the whole process took 2 months and I was constantly updated. highly recommend simply conveyancing
The portal made life simpler.
Easy to get hold of my solicitor for any questions and advice. Really quick and efficient service
And after two years we still don't have papers for our completion which still hasn't been finished. We are fed up. I sent an email a week ago and I haven't received any response. Person who handling our case was in touch in December last time. They still blaming second party solicitor and land registry. They told us it will take 18 months but it's over two years now. Don't pay that company before all papers won't be handed by you.
I was regularly updated as the sale of the property was progressing. They handled the sale professionally and expeditiously. Couldn't really ask for more. Thankyou.
Quick, Efficient service from Simply Conveyancing. They dealt with queries promptly and achieved the completion as soon as was possible. Always available to help with queries or advice.
My lawyer was personable, available and extremely efficient. The time pressure was huge because of the change in stamp duty that was coming and the buyers’ need to get things through quickly, but Hailey managed it very well. She took a lot of the stress away.
The whole experience was simple and straightforward. My solicitor was always there to accept calls and answer any queries.
My previous review was removed because I named the solicitor that handled my conveyancing, weirdly they don’t seem to mind other people naming their solicitor in positive reviews, but I suppose it’s a way they can remove negative reviews, so I’ve removed the name. They also claimed they couldn't find my case in the system, presumably in another effort to get TrustPilot to remove my review so here are the last few characters of my case reference with Simply: ******0424138 I do not recommend that you use this company, I went with them to purchase my first property based on previous positive reviews and even though my expectations were fairly low going in (first time buyer, in no rush) getting through the conveyancing process with Simply was like drawing blood from a stone and in my opinion far more stressful and time consuming than it should have been. Positives: Initial sales call (before I was assigned a solicitor) was pleasant and re-assuring The client portal you can log into for status updates/overview was a nice touch Negatives (oh boy here we go) Tasks completed in the portal (e.g., declarations, info gathering) still show as outstanding, creating confusion about what's required. After the sellers sent draft contracts, my solicitor ignored them for three weeks. I only found out when the seller contacted me directly to ask if my solicitor was alive. When challenged, there was no explanation or apology, just "I'll review these shortly." The "book a call" feature appeared to work, but I never received calls as my solicitor "didn't get notifications," wasting my time off work. I uploaded all proof-of-income documents through Thirdfort, only to be told months later they weren't received. Screenshots confirmed the documents were sent, yet I was told to redo everything. My solicitor refused to contact Thirdfort, making it entirely my problem. They won't provide a target completion date, even after all requirements are met, making planning impossible and risking the chain collapsing. A contingent target date would prevent so much stress as the sellers kept asking me but I was unable to provide one. Questions are avoided. Simple ones like "Are these restrictive covenants unusual?" are met with "You need to read them carefully," leaving me feeling like I'm paying for a document relay service rather than legal advice. So here I am, now finally in my first home which I should be celebrating but instead I'm reflecting on how much stress and lost time could have been avoided as a direct result of this company. I hope you think twice before engaging with them, and I hope they reconsider their processes. Good luck.
All legal matters dealt with, in spite of certain hurdles. Stick with Elana and you’ll get there.
