Don't Place An Online Order From Canada

For some reason they ship via UPS in the states and it changes to Canada Post when it crosses the border. It took 3 weeks to get an estimated delivery date. Now that Canada Post is on strike I don't know when I'll get my order. I contacted them and asked about new orders. UPS will hold new orders until the strike is over. If the strike goes on for months, your order will be held for months. What a joke! Update: I placed an order with Geri Fashions out of Oakville Ontario. If you are ordering from Canada I highly recommend Geri. Customer service was outstanding and they delivered on time.

À eviter

J'ai acheté le 2 septembre 2024 3 paires de bas anti dérapant pour ma mère de 97 ans. Le 18 septembre le co'is a été retourné faute d'étiquette pour UPS. Le 18 sept il est renvoyé et voilà que le 24 septembre en Ohio il est retourné à Silverts qui ont encaissé ma transaction à titre de colis reçu ! Ce colis devait parvenir au Québec, Canada et mon adresse était bel et bien mentionnée. Depuis 3 demandes de remboursements je n'ai aucune réponse du centre d'aide de la Cie. Compagnie à éviter.

Quality, Style, and Compassion

I was asked by my elderly uncle's assisted living residence to consider buying some clothes for him as he was at the stage where it was difficult to change him. Only Silverts had the style of fleece track pants and polo shirts that he always wore. I felt that changing his wardrobe to cheap, synthetic, rough generic clothes would just remind him of his limited time, and wouldn't be comfortable. I ordered a couple of outfits that night with regular 2-week shipping but the next day I received a call saying he took a downturn for the worse and had maybe 2 weeks to live. I phoned Customer Service to try to pay for Rush shipping but it had been packed and was just waiting for pickup. She kindly kept apologizing and offering her condolences about my uncle. A few days later the order arrived expedited across the border from southwest to northeast North America. My uncle was happy and excited when he saw the clothes and he wore them until he passed a little over a week later. Silvert's quality merchandise plus compassion and care for their customers is admirable and highly appreciated. (This review is delayed because I've been dealing with delayed official documents, red tape etc associated with Estates.)

RIP OFF Terrible return policy

Terrible return policy. You have to pay for the return label plus they do not credit the original shipping charges, which customer service person did not make clear. You end up losing $20 on any returned item, which in this case was for an 80 year old. Customer service agent was of no help.

Beware of return policy!

Never again! Returns end up costing you 9.95$ for a shipping label which is clear in their policy. What’s not clear is that they also deduct the original shipping charges so you end up paying 20$ for a return. Their refund was quick that I give them.

Poor Customer Service

The post surgery shirts I bought were bulky and heavy on the patient. I am extremely disappointed in their return policy that states 100% satisfaction guaranteed. It states the customer shipping will not be refunded, which is acceptable. If they stand behind their products 100%, they shouldn’t also expect me to pay the return shipping too. $9.95 return shipping, I won’t buy from them again.

Not Canadian anymore and now poor service

I have successfully ordered from Silverts several times in the past. Recently though they have moved operations to the US and purchases are now charged in $US, even though the site shows $CDN. I had a return and was refunded about $20 less than what I paid. A shipping charge of $9.95 plus about $10 less not specified. Customer service was particularly unhelpful as the girl could not correctly read the return invoice. I don’t know if it was an exchange rate difference, or an exchange fee from the credit card company or what. Well, in the meantime I have found other Canadian companies that sell adaptive clothing at better prices and won’t order from them again. Silly, really, as it would have been easy to rectify the problem.
