Having been named as sole executor for an estate, I had no idea where to start the application for the Grant of Probate. Barry Halliday of Secure Inheritance Legal Services was recommended to us as someone who could help. From the start, Barry was extremely thoughtful and professional. He talked us through our options and we opted for him to take charge of the whole application process. Barry was extremely thorough with every part of the application to ensure that it went through first time and to prevent any unnecessary delays. His experience was obvious through his previous dealings with this process and HMRC. He went out of his way to keep us updated on the ongoing progress, not only by messages, but by personal visits. Through Barry's efforts, we had a very good outcome to the application. I cannot recommend Barry highly enough for helping us through what would have been an absolute minefield.
We met with John Kelly to arrange LPA’s. We found the meeting extremely beneficial. John explained the process in great detail and answered all of our concerns; we were thoroughly impressed.

I liked Edward Moodie's initial contact email. I would not have been happy with doing my POAs over the phone or on zoom. He was very informative and helpful and told me several things I was not aware of. After he left and I received the draft POAs, he promptly answered all the questions I had in my return email. I would have no hesitation in recommending Ed to anyone.

I used Dan recently to help write my will for my business and personal Dan was very accommodating and helped book in a time and date that suited me. We had our meeting and Dan went through everything with me from what felt really daunting at first. Dan reassured me and made sure everything was made clear and I understood everything. Once I decided to go ahead with my will, he was extremely speedy at putting all the documents together and sending them over to me. Even when I had a few adjustments that needed to be made Dan was always at the end of the phone to help me with my queries and was extremely efficient and understanding. Helpful, friendly and prompt service provided by the local representative, Edward Moodie who assisted in drafting a new straightforward Will. Ed was efficient in collating data and explained details and options clearly and in lay person's language. We were offered face to face home visit but decided on a telephone consultation which worked well for us. The follow up service from the main office was via email and a hard copy of the Will sent for signature and completion. I think many people feel obliged to stick with a single solicitor or local practice out of loyalty and convenience but some fees are truly extortionate. Security Inheritance was flexible and reassuring and saved us money, so I would highly recommend.

Barry came to visit my Mother to give advice on her Will and Power of Attorney. Barry was knowledgeable, caring and took time to listen to Mums requirements. Their advisor, Andrea Kirsopp, came to my house, explained everything thoroughly and was friendly and very helpful, but not “pushy”. I now have my Will which is not written in legalese and can easily be administered by my appointed Executor. I have no hesitation in recommending this company to anyone thinking of making their Will.
