Having been named as sole executor for an estate, I had no idea where to start the application for the Grant of Probate. Barry Halliday of Secure Inheritance Legal Services was recommended to us as someone who could help. From the start, Barry was extremely thoughtful and professional. He talked us through our options and we opted for him to take charge of the whole application process. Barry was extremely thorough with every part of the application to ensure that it went through first time and to prevent any unnecessary delays. His experience was obvious through his previous dealings with this process and HMRC. He went out of his way to keep us updated on the ongoing progress, not only by messages, but by personal visits. Through Barry's efforts, we had a very good outcome to the application. I cannot recommend Barry highly enough for helping us through what would have been an absolute minefield.

Ed is a brilliant advisor who carefully arranged our mirror wills and LPAs at a reasonable cost. However their price to add my wife to my property deeds I consider to be extremely high compared to costs for other services
After my husband had a stroke, I realised the need to have a Lasting Power of Attorney. Out of six replies from The Law Superstore, I am so thankful I picked Chris Isaacs, an older, experienced and very knowledgeable man. He visited the rehab unit with me, asked questions, and efficiently prepared the paperwork. At the twenty-minute meeting to sign the documents we were waylaid by the rehab consultant to stop my husband signing until he had a competency test. Throughout the next four weeks, Chris, despite his time taken up by phone calls and the doubling of his travel, always reassured me, these things happen and not to worry about it. And he didn't charge for the inconvenience caused when this week, the documents were completed.
Writing a Will, General Power of Attorning and Lasting Power of Attorney is emotional for the individual and family. Having to secure this for both parents living separately is daunting.
