Originally, I left a 1 star review because I was annoyed that a collection had been arranged but someone called to say they only work in London (which would have been ok if they told me when I first entered my postcode). As it happens, they collected my car on the day agreed. I became a little suspicious when the person collecting didn't leave me anything but the money agreed was paid and the overall transaction was smooth.

It was very easy

It was quick and easy, everything happened on time as planned and the payment was in my account later the same day

This company is very reliable turn up when they say they will and give you the best price

By far the best price, twinned with a truly excellent service from start to finish. Our family Citroen had started to cost us more than it was worth so we decided to find a company to remove it. I was quoted by various companies online but none of them came close to the offer we received from SCN. We accepted the offer on the Monday then chose a convenient appointment on the Wednesday to have our car collected. All the time we received periodic texts and emails to update us with the important information, including the drivers name and telephone number, well in advance, were we to need to communicate with them. As promised I was called by the team who gave me a time of arrival. On time, Lon arrived with another guy, both were extremely professional and friendly at the same time. The expected payment time where the money would reach my bank account was 2 working days after the car had been collection. I received my money the very same day. I highly recommend this exceptional company. Try them, you won't be disappointed.

Booked a collection of our car around a week prior to the booked slot we had confirmed. We chose a PM slot and was told we would be contacted 30 mins prior to collection. Waited in all day and no-one even bothered turning up, no call, text or email to state they were not attending today. Tried to call the office on several occasions and seems like nobody is there actually taking calls. Shocking company, shocking service. Absolutely terrible!

Booked in on two occasions both times been let down, if this is how you conduct business I am shocked you are still running. Even time frames are sh@te, book afternoon get a call in the morning at 730am when at work, driver states its not his fault he does not get times. Total di@ks.

Third car I've recycled with these guys. Reasonable amount. Zero hassle. Easy to book, great communication from driver, courteous collection. Money into my account same day. If you read the bad reviews, it's because folk do stupid things like not removing their possessions until the morning of collection or have unrealistic expectations of niceties or crystal-ball-reading abilities from scrap car staff. It's a quick, rough & ready business, so adjust your expectations folks! Just get your car ready for collection the day before, be reasonable & answer your bleedin' phone, you'll be fine.

Booked a transit van to be scrapped. Then called explaining what needed to be done as it was in a tight space but doable. Explained their was items in the vans and asked if needed to be removed? Was advised on the phone it's fine. I booked a pm appointment. The driver called early as he said he was in the area. So I got someone to cover my work and left on the way I got a call saying he can't do it as its to tight and stuff in the van. I said I can remove the stuff in 2 mins and if it to tight how did another company put It there? Driver just couldn't be asked. Went to book another appointment and the girl on the phone said to tight and got stuff in the van. I advised what I told the driver. I then used another company and he came out and sorted it with no issues and I didn't Evan need to be present. The company I used was called dispose a car. Just goes to show the difference in customer service and skills to do a job to be perfectly honest. I'm not one to complain but cost me time of work as I left early and my landlord threatened to take me to court if the van wasn't moved as he didn't want a broken down vehicle in the space and had been there a while. The company that removed the van also made them look Evan worse!
