I'd been seeing advertisements for RYZE pop up in my Face Book news feed, complete with accolades from customers, and finally got curious enough to go to the web site on February 9, 2025. I ordered one bag of the coffee and at check-out there was an offer for a second bag at a reduced price and took advantage of the offer. The order arrived at my home in an incredibly short time. I joined their RYZE and Shine group to get tips and help from fellow users.
I was anxious to try it and found the taste to be less than cravable, but some cinnamon and allulose made it palatable. The problem was digestive problems, probably due to the MTC oil. Wanting this to work, I cut the amount I was consuming in half, then because I really wanted it to be workable for me - in half again. I was hoping that by slowly increasing the daily amount it would work out fine.
A couple weeks later a post from the RYZE and Shine group popped up in my Face Book news feed, saying that she was billed for another shipment that she did not authorize and that now her money was gone. Shortly after that, her post was gone and replaced with one saying that Andre from RYZE contacted her to help because she didn't know that she had a subscription. That made me wonder, how could this happen, so I went to my Pay Pal account that I used when I bought it, and sure enough...I had a subscription, too! I never signed up for a subscription, so I disabled the subscription on Pay Pal. A few days later I got an email saying that my next order was ready to ship, which was horrifying because I still had 1½ bags in the pantry. This was followed by another email saying that I had to submit a new method of payment because Pay Pal rejected their request. Thank goodness I used Pay Pal because I was never prompted to create an account in which I'm told I could have changed the frequency.
I went to the group and started reading similar stories about not knowing that they signed up for a subscription, too. The sad thing is that the group is populated by true RYZE enthusiasts and and the most vocal are abusive toward those who experience a problem like mine and are mocked for "not reading before buying" and other insults, nibbling around the edges of being called stupid. Accused of being a Troll who just comes to the group to cause trouble. I was told, without knowing what I paid, that what I bought was a special price for subscribers, and if I didn't want it I should have not ordered it. I clicked a link on their Face Book ad, no mention about a "special deal for subscribers".
Here's the thing, the page that is being linked here in replies from the company in no way resembles the way it used to look. Now it is obvious if you are choosing a subscription or one time purchase and the prices for each option. When I and the others bought this, there was no choice, there was only a line in smaller, lighter colored font under the "BUY" button saying that there will be more coming my way in 30 days. It was one of those things that you'd notice when you scrutinized the web page, wondering what happened.
Every other e-commerce site I've seen has an opt in/opt out feature. This was not the case. I'm very glad to see that their web site is redesigned so people can make an informed choice, but I hope they invest in some moderators for their group to keep comments civil.
Note: I'm editing this to say that as of today, the pages that link from Face Book ads do not have the obvious choices of subscription or one time that show in the links Andre is providing here. They look exactly like the one that I saw when I made my purchase.

Regarding your reply, as detailed in my review, I did not "select" a subscription. When someone goes to your site through an ad on Face Book, there is no way to select a one-time purchase and it is unclear that it is a subscription due to the low key working under the purchase button.
I did not request a refund, but I will accept that you have gone ahead and issued one. What I'd really like is a more clear-cut opt in/out of a subscription on the linked page from your Face Book ad. I am not the only one who has been caught unaware.
Due to your responsiveness to my review I have changed the experience rating from one star.
