Went to view a property on Wednesday 9th July. I waited 15 before ringing to see if anyone was turning up to show me round, no one did. I then rang the office and they said they had no recollection of my booking. I said I had a confirmation email. They said “well it must have been moved, did you not get told?”. IF I WAS TOLD I WOULD’NT HAVE TURNED UP WOULD I? I won’t be using Richard Kendall again. This is the second time this has happened now.
Mandy Bennett at the Ossett branch of Richard Kendall was, without doubt, the best Estate Agent if have ever dealt with! She went the extra mile on everything she did & whatever I asked it was dealt with without a problem. I've never had an Estate Agent like it, had some absolute nightmares in the past. I made a massive mistake in appointing W H Brown in Wakefield originally to sell my late Mum's property. They overpriced it, gave us poor information on how to set it up to sell, due to this we had very few viewings & very poor liason. The worst bit was recommending the incompetent solicitors, Gilson Gray in Lincoln, who were a nightmare. I got rid of W H Brown at the first opportunity & listed with Richard Kendall. The difference was night & day! Mandy dealt with absolutely everything brilliantly. She dealt with both sets of solicitors which was a thankless task. We completed yesterday & it would have still been on going if it wasn't for Mandy. To summarise, if you're listing a property in that area just use Richard Kendall, avoid W H Brown & never ever use Gilson Gray solicitors. Thank you Mandy, you've restored my faith in Estate Agents, well one anyway! Absolute star!!
As we have an existing relationship with Richard Kendall they were an obvious choice for the sale of our family home. With branches across the 5 towns they are a perfect choice for the region, with wonderful staff offering a personal, passionate service whilst remaining highly professional and efficient. Karen was our negotiator in Wakefield and worked so hard over a 12 month period! She kept the chain connected through a complex process with various issues, keeping related parties updated along the way. So happy in our new home and the pain was worth it - honestly Karen 😃. You're welcome to visit anytime to see what it was all about and that's not something you'll hear said to an estate agent very often - speaks volumes 🥰. Thank you.

We have bought and sold many houses over the years and I must say Karen and her team at Richard Kendall's have been the best estate agent I have dealt with. We were kept up to date throughout the process from start to finish. Richard Kendall's will be out first call on any future sales.

Selling my house through Richard Kendall was a great move. Amanda at the Pontefract office was there for me every step of the way. I couldn’t have asked for a better person to handle my sale. She did a fantastic job with the communication between me and the buyer and always pushed the solicitors for updates. My sale wasn’t as straight forward as any of us had hoped but Amanda didn’t let that phase her. Her professional and friendly support continued though-out the whole process. I’d highly recommend Richard Kendall.

I always spoke to the same person who knew the progress or challenges that we came across. I didn't have to repeat myself because I had Mandy who was always keen to help and get things moving. Mandy made this experience great, by being patient and keeping me updated on everything as it was happening. Mandy always informed me of progress and when I went to collect the keys for the house I purchased, Mandy gave me a lovely welcome gift that Richard Kendal give to buyers and this was also a lovely touch. It's been smooth and timely from offer to completion, I would recommend Richard kendal to anyone.
After completion of my first house on Friday, I just wanted to share my appreciation and say that I was really pleased with the service delivered by Karen Marijewko. Everything was done in great time and communicated everything back to me brilliantly throughout. I had the pleasure to be dealt by with such a knowledgeable professional, supporting me as a first time buyer and always contacted me keeping me updated.
Horrible company ,, complete unprofessional and rude .. Booked a viewing for a house in Ossett for 10.30 on 01/06,, no agent showed up to show us around .. ( even though we had rung a second time to confirm the booking ) .. rand Kendal’s up to see what was going on and was diverted to the Huddersfield office and they claimed they had no details for our viewing .. They then then re booked us in for a viewing on 08/06 at 10.45 .. We then received a call on 04/06 telling us they were cancelling the booking as they had had enough people that had already viewed the house and would be doing no more viewings .. No apologies for driving and hour from Manchester on the Saturday morning for nothing , no apologies for totally wasting our time ..
Excellent communication throughout the process with first class support when needed.
