We had a same day callout and had a very switched on and friendly technician in Macauley. He explained everything he did without overdoing it and was helpful in providing advice and made sure we were aware of when he would be back for another site visit. Can't fault anything he did.

I contacted Rentokil after the horror of discovering bedbugs in my home. They promptly arranged for a survey to be done by their technician, Jordan. I got a quote for the work needed very quickly, which I accepted, and Jordan returned the next day to start the treatment. The service I received from Rentokil was excellent, as you would expect from such a well known company, but Jordan was an absolute star. He was very thorough and professional with a kind, cheerful, confident and very reassuring manner throughout the whole bug extermination process. He explained what he was doing at each stage and why, and gave lots of advice on what I could do to help get rid of the bugs and prevent further infestation. He made this whole experience less of an ordeal for me for which I am very grateful.

Contacted Rentokil when an electrician identified that recent faults had been caused by rodent damage. The subsequent discovery of an infestation of rats in our ceiling was a home owner's worst nightmare!! Kieran at Rentokil visited to assess the issue, and made it his mission from day one to win a full scale war against our uninvited visitors. Kieran quickly found the suspected entry point which was via sewers / drains and arranged the necessary surveys and remedial works to be completed to secure the drains against rodent entry. Kieran then went above and beyond to come back and check on our property, staying in constant communication with us by text and phone, monitoring any ongoing rodent activity, and acting very quickly to respond to any changes until we could be confident the problem was fixed. Throughout what was quite a stressful time, Kieran made himself available to us for any questions or worries we had, and we really felt he cared about our home and was on our side in trying to resolve things. We had absolute confidence in Kieran's knowledge, and above all he was a pleasure to have in our home - even my very distrusting elderly mother in law commented that he was "a lovely lad" which is unheard of praise! We are now rat free and hope to stay that way but will never work with another pest controller again now that we know who to call.

We are half way through a two part process and Chris has been great at guiding us through the process and checking in to make sure we are happy and clear on next steps. A quick, expert and well coordinated response to a problem which as far as can be seen has been solved. Each of the individuals involved in different aspects of the work demonstrated a high degree of knowledge and professionalism. They all tried to explain what problems they had found and what remedial actions they felt were necessary. However there are perhaps four realities that cannot be avoided in dealing with many problems. Organisations cannot work miracles - they can only deal with what they can find; a lay person has to take on trust their recommended actions; an immediate solution to a problem cannot guarantee a permanent solution; and, alas, they are not cheap - a person with the knowledge, expertise and confidence to take on the the project management of the works could probably make a considerable saving but at what risk?

Gary arrived and has been so thorough in his application. It had been an unpleasant infestation, and he has dealt with it in a good humoured and efficient manner, including return visits. It is good that he sought to re-assure us that such occurrences were quite normal, and not beyond the realms of treatment.
