Richard - ID 5009 turned up to within a few seconds of the expected time given by the app. He got straight to work and identified the problem. Very professional and informative. He did not carry the battery i needed, but he got the vehicle started so i could drive to local garage.

First time reporting a breakdown on the app and it was really easy to do. Could then easily see updates and even track my patrol. when he was on his way. Peter (2644) was friendly and helpful, answered all my questions and, with a temp fix, got me back on my way v quickly - Great example of good tech really then supporting delivering the in person element.
The RAC left me in my car for 7 hours making up excuses after excuses. I actually woke up and operator when I called around 11pm I reported the brake down at 6.24pm it's . If I was a dog left in a car with 27 degrees all that time with no food or drink I would think RSPCA would be angry. I've never known an cowboy outfit like it .
Last night I called them around 11.14pm as my car broke down and would not move and I have got roadside cover . I kept calling and last update at 4.30am was that ETA 8.37AM. In the end I called private recovery and managed to get my car over to garage by 5.30AM.. they made me sit whole night without turning up .. does it take 8 hrs to respond ? Worse experience ever . Try to avoid them . Rather than paying monthly better use one off private service as and when needed!
Many thanks to the very helpful and kind Santiago patrol ID 3000 he was so nice, efficient and professional when came to a call out to my house for a rather stupid reason - flat battery as hadn’t used my car for quite a while following a health condition so hadn’t been able to drive. He was aware that I had a time constrained appointment and got me going so could take the car for an MOT and was just really clear about the need for checking and running the engine, driving regularly, time needed to charge battery etc. as an older woman one can feel quite patronised sometimes by younger people or mechanics but he was just really kind and nice, kind and thorough. Big shout out to Santiago from North London
Cannot fault the knowledge and professionalism of both Tracy, at the call centre, and David ID:4447, the attending breakdown engineer. Under stressful circumstances for ourselves, trying to make it to a family funeral, I felt Tracy and David did their utmost to ease the situation and resolve as efficiently as possible, right from recovery to safe location, return of vehicle to home town, and arrangements of hire vehicle for onward travel. Very much appreciated. Whilst we missed the actual funeral/burial service, we did make it to the Wake only 2 hours late. Very thankful.
Help arrived faster than even the RAC app had predicted and Ryan (2890) worked extremely quickly and efficiently to resolve my car’s old dead battery issue to get me back on the road. It was a sweltering hot day and I was pleased to get home safe and sound thanks to his help.
The RAC rescus crew Antony was helpful, professional and friendly. He did an exellant job to replace the car battery, promtly and efficient.
