Really enjoyed the study hall.

It was a great experience completing and passing my PMP certification. The thoroughness of the PMI in tailoring the exam makes you study very hard and gain a clear understanding of project management. I do appreciate the impact this will have in my career moving forward. Thank you

I think it is a good organization that does truly try to promote learning. I feel the PMP test is a little skewed to agile project management rather than traditional which favors the IT/software sector but overall still a really reputable organization and the standard for Project Managers.

The institute offers learning options at every level. I took advantage of the study hall, app, and practice exams. The combination helped me pass the exam on my first attempt. The easy access and simple instructions made studying easy, even with my busy schedule.

The process was straightforward and I found the recommended training partners extremely helpful

There was an internet outage during my first attempt at the testing center. I was told I would receive a reschedule email within 3-5 days. I called to follow up twice, once on the 5th day, and don’t think I would have heard from PMI unless I had called. This delayed my test by 3 weeks.

I used the Study Hall subscription which helped a lot. Since my PM class I took, the format of the exam had changed and there was a greater focus on Agile. Study Hall was able to prepare me for that and offered a plethora of tools to study.

The learning materials and study halls were a great tool to enabling my success in the examination.

Getting signed up for and taking the exam was made easy through PMI. The exam was thorough and gave me even more confidence that I have a strong foundational understanding of the project methodologies taught.

I liked Study Hall, although there were questions that were clearly incorrect practice exams and topic quizzes. However, 95% of the content was accurate. I disliked that the format for the exam changed without notice (removed drag & drop and hot spot questions). I think with how aggressive the job market is right now, you need certifications to stand out, however, I don't think having the PMP is any proof that you're a good/bad PM.
