They sent me half of my order, the far less expensive half and said the rest was delayed. When I contacted them after never receiving the other half of the order they said it was packed in the first package and that they would not reship them. They were very large banana plants, so they were not missed. There are several other reviews of people having the same issue. I’d like to give them the benefit of the doubt, but I think they are scammers. I would buy elsewhere.

Half my order came within 5 days of ordering then the tree i ordered was lost in shipping. They refused to refund me. I will never buy anything from them again. Horrible!!

PlantingTree Order: 65728; April 6 2021; two Ligustrum Howardi plants, $139. The facts are simple. (1) The seller advertised nursery plants for sale on their websitethat are pictured in full bloom and color; they are absent any damage in the catalog' (2)I ordered two plants described on the website at full price. (3) the plants arrived damaged in very poor condition which I reported immediately (within an hour) after the box arrived and inspected. (4) During one of the several telephone conversations that followed the Planting Tree representative explained to me that my plants were damaged because they were exposed by the nursery during an unusual weather freeze the day before shipping. The seller knowingly shipped the damaged plants. She explained the leaves would fall off and be replaced naturally. Planting Tree may confirm that conversation by replaying their recorded telephone call with me. (5) Required six telephone calls to Planting Tree, a total of 145 minutes most of it waiting and no calls returned. One month later the plants are not recovered they are worse and dying." I requested a refund through Mastercard. The merchant refused any compensation.

Received my first order of spruce trees. So impressed with quality of the product. Trees were securely packaged and appeared to be very healthy upon opening the box. Trees from nurseries are super expensive where I live. I’m glad I had this affordable option. Thanks again!

Great plants and customer service. I ordered a couple of Redbuds "Forest Pansy" to complete a focal point composition and one arrived with the main lead branch broken. Not PlantingTree's fault, the box was mishandled during shipping. The trees otherwise look good and healthy. I summited my concern regarding the damaged tree through the website and Customer Service immediately replied and processed a replacement to be sent out. I'll definitely be using PlantingTree again. I spent days searching at local garden centers for the plant material that I was looking for, but I was never happy with the selection or the prices. Then I stumbled upon my friends at Planting Tree! The selection and prices were only overshadowed by the tremendous staff! The staff is willing to take the time to talk with you about what you are working on and then to give ideas and suggestions. You feel like you are speaking with a knowledgeable & caring individual that is giving you genuine input. Their variety of plants is tremendous too!!

I ordered a Chinese Wisteria tree recently that is 3-4 feet tall. The tree arrived quite quickly and it was in good shape when it arrived. Unfortunately, I don't know much about planting trees, so I reached out and asked a question. This is where I feel like PlantingTree is better than other online retailers. They responded to my question quickly, looked up my order so they could tailor their response to my specific order, and were kind and professional the whole time. It's easy to sell things online but providing good customer service takes heart. These folks have it! I highly recommend PlantingTree!

Ordered on Monday and received the plants on Thursday. Superb customer service. The plants are beautiful and healthy. I will be putting them in the ground this weekend. Thank you Lisa!

Great customer service! The team is responsive and was very helpful during the delivery process and even with the ongoing care of the Meyer lemon tree I ordered. The tree was much taller than I expected (I ordered the 3-4ft tall and what arrived was well over 5 ft!). It’s blooming and we are excited for first fruit!

Awesome company. I have gotten many quality plants and trees and when I had one issue, their customer service can’t be beat. Immediate help from them and when the issue couldn’t be fixed, they replaced the plant. I definitely recommend and will continue to purchase from them in the future.

Fantastic quality, fast shipping. I was leary to order online, but the Royal Purple Smoke Tree 3 Gallon and the Bloodgood Japanese Maple 4-5 Feet were in pristine condition and had been packaged extremely well! A few reviews mentioned "pricy," but I don't think so. This business and its products rate 5-star value! My new favorite green house!! Thank You!

Tree cheers for Planting Tree! Plants arrived a couple of days after ordering, were healthy and full. Would definitely recommend.

They sent me dead trees, sick trees, unhealthy poorly packaged and falsely advertised trees. First they falsely advertised it would ship in 1-2 Days. In fact they waited until the 4th day at 7 PM to ship. They advertised wax myrtle as fast growing 3-5 feet per year, however all legitimate information on this plant states it grows 12-18 inches per year. They also falsely advertised the 3 gallon size being 2-3 feet tall when in fact they are only about 18 inches. I now see others have complained about the falsely advertised sizes as well. They make blatant lies in their advertised listing in order to fool the consumer. This is known as a bait and switch! Theres laws that protect consumers from bait and switches. These plants appear to be 1 gallon size stuffed into 3 gallon containers as the root system is way to small. Beyond all the false advertising, deception and lies the leaves are yellow and have broken branches that appear to have happened prior to shipment. When they send a customer something totally different than what is advertised that is deceitful and fraudulent! It also shows poor morals and lack of integrity. EDITED: to add, Tony makes the FALSE and clearly DEFAMATORY statements about me "trying to scam the order". I received 10 dead and sick trees that I measured with a ruler that were half the size advertised and I'm willing to ship them back, I do not want them. I do not want anything for free! I do not want the products that were sent to me. I have provided 12 photos of what I received. PlantingTree and Tony have not taken this matter seriously and have refused to assist in any way whatsoever.

I am on order to receive one of your products as an appreciation gift from one of our counterparties. I received an email notice from Planting Tree re: its delivery. Customer Information on the email had my address as the Billing Address. I simply wanted to confirm that I was not going to be billed for the item. Eileen S and Melissa J responded to my email expeditiously. I only wish Sprint and Cox Cable would be one-tenth as efficient as these two!

I ordered two trees, soil and fertilizer. They arrived 5 days later. The small tree was bent at a 90 degree angle and many leaves were damaged. The larger tree had a broken branch and dead leaves. I looked how to plant and saw that one tree was $30 less 5 days later. I was told they would do nothing about the $30 and to prune off the dead leaves on both plants. I called 20 times but could not reach anyone and had to email to get a response. NOT using them for the rest of the new yard at my home.

I ordered 12 (1) gal. Encore Azaleas (Autumn Sunset) in order to showcase them in 2 flower beds in my front yard. They arrived on time but in broken boxes. The broken boxes was not my major problem, however, they were not showcase quality. Many of them had brown leaves and they were not healthy looking. Since I paid $29.99 per plant, I expected beautiful plants ready to enhance my flower beds. The day they arrived I called the Planting Tree and shared my disappointment in the plants. I talked to Hillary and sent her pictures of the plants. She apologized for the broken boxes but her comment about the inferior plants was "Well, they will survive and will bloom for you." She never addressed the fact they were not show case quality. I then went to a very nice nursery in town and I found Encore Azaleas (5 gal.) for the same $29.99 that I had paid for the 1 gal. ones from the Planting Tree. I then sent Hillary a picture of the 5 gal. beautifully shaped, very green, healthy azaleas compared to the unhealthy looking 1 gal. plants that I had received from the Planting Tree. I asked Hillary to call me to talk about replacing the plants. She had someone respond to my email and that person never mentioned replacing the plants. She just told me they would bloom in the Summer and the Fall. I told her that I was still very dis-satisfied with the plants and that I would not recommend the Planting Tree because of the inferior plants for which I had paid over $400.

I received the incorrect order and when I contacted the company, Melissa did an exceptional job making it right. I received the correct order very fast! I am satisfied with the service and would order from PlantingTree again.

This was my first order with planting tree and I was very dissatisfied when I received the shipment. I reached out to describe my experience by email and worked with Hillary – who was fantastic. She reviewed my pictures and took quick action to replace my 3 gallon azalea bush. I received the new one and it is beautiful !! - exactly as expected. Great experience overall.

PlantingTree has now filled out our new front yard with their plants - almost 50 plants in total, so far. Every single plant has been of very high quality and expertly packaged and shipped. Their prices are competitive with local nurseries - and we can get exactly the plant we want from PlantingTree's extensive selection. I highly recommend them! Now on to the backyard...
