Quick response time. Professional. Pleasant and kind engineers

Pimlico Plumbers receives high praise for its excellent service and quick response times, with many reviewers highlighting the professionalism and efficiency of the staff. Customers appreciate the knowledgeable plumbers who diagnose and resolve issues promptly, often expressing gratitude for the effective communication and thoroughness of the team. However, there are notable complaints regarding pricing, with some consumers feeling overcharged for services they did not authorize or that were inadequately performed. A few reviews mention dissatisfaction with specific employees, citing instances of damage to property and a lack of transparency. Despite these criticisms, the majority of experiences shared are overwhelmingly positive, showcasing Pimlico Plumbers as a reliable choice for urgent plumbing needs.

Quick response time. Professional. Pleasant and kind engineers
Highly qualified engineer who isolated the issue and has offered recommendations.
Steven from Pimlico worked out what my problem was straightaway. Explained it all to me, and quickly put it right. Excellent
Fantastic - fixed the issue in a few minutes
engineer is professional and politely , fix all problems!
Tobit went above and beyond - changed the pump but also cleaned out the other connecting parts properly which most tradesmen ignored in the past. Also gave me really good cleaning tip to keep the machine running well.
Called for a boiler problem. The plumber said the boiler needs to change without giving any explanation of what might be wrong but I was told that I would receive a detailed email about the problem. Instead, I got an email quoting of £5.4k for a new boiler and £600 other things. I would have believed this if another plumber didn't come and fix the issue for £500 in two hours
Excellent workmanship and explanation of the problem and how it could be solved.
I called Pimlico Plumbers on the 6th January as my sink was blocked. On the recommendation of the phone operator, I requested a drainage engineer to visit rather than a plumber. The engineer arrived and tried to unblock the pipes but was unable to do so on his own. He had to then call a plumber to come to help him, so I was paying the hourly rate for both of them. They took all day to assess and "fix" the problem and I ended up paying £1900 to get my sink unblocked. It seemed a little steep at the time but they assured me the problem was resolved and I should not have any more problems for years. Less than 2 weeks later, my sink is draining slowly again. The blockage was clearly not addressed properly, but Pimlico are refusing to help without charging me again for a callout. I will not be using their services again, and will look into getting legal advice on the matter.
Promptness and understanding of the problem was fantastic.
Great service - would highly recommend
Honesty and thinking ahead to prevent any damage or further inconvenience to the job
My first time using Pimlico Plumbers. I was impressed by the same day response. Aidan was very knowledgeable and clearly explained what the problem was, and how it could be rectified. I am happy to recommend them.
We've spent thousands with Pimlico over the years but will never use again. Heating engineer called Lee in East London was assigned to help remove a tap head. Damaged our worktop with his drill, admitted he'd done it to us at the time, and said he'd report it to the office. However, he didn't report it, and he then lied and said the damage was pre-existing. His "evidence" was a photo he took an hour after he arrived (long after he'd started the work) and the photo literally shows the hole he had already started drilling! My wife was nine months pregnant (we had our son four days later) and caused us a huge amount of unnecessary stress and frustration at a very sensitive time. Absolutely no reason for us to fabricate - as mentioned have spent thousands with Pimlico and never raised a a single complaint. Customer Services absolutely uninterested, accuse us of claiming for pre-existing damage, refusing to explain how they can support this position when the photos clearly do not support the engineer's version of events. Similar pattern to other reviews here - claim to have referred the matter to "3rd party insurers" but no details of who they are and no updates. Issue open for four months now, no attempt at resolution forthcoming, clearly just stalling and hoping we'll go away. We always felt Pimlico was a more expensive but safe, honest choice, who could be trusted if something went wrong. In reality, their failure to resolve something as serious as damage to our kitchen shows they are no better than dealing with independent traders. We have experienced no semblance of customer care, and have spent the first few months of our son's life chasing Pimlico for the bare minimum of updates. Please be warned, avoid Pimlico Plumbers. Use local trustworthy tradespeople and pay half the price.
Pimlico may seem expensive, especially for smaller jobs, but it’s still my go-to choice for work I want done properly. At least their pricing is transparent. When you try to hire a plumber from the open market, they’ll still aim to make their time worthwhile — just through less transparent pricing. More importantly, they’re often far less efficient. You can easily end up with someone in the house all day for a job that could have been completed in an hour.
Excellent work!
Don’t be fooled by Pimlico Plumbers I. Trust Pilot. They promise to put things right. I was asked to contact customer services then I posted a poor review. I did and they fee ailed to follow up in any way. It’s clear that their responses to bad reviews are simply window dressing with zero intent to correct theatter
My experience is good because it was easy to book and the response time and workmanship of the electrician was excellent.
Quick, safe, installation
