I joined Personal Best on the 6 weeks challenge earlier in the year and haven’t looked back. I was the unfittest I’ve ever been and had some existing injuries. I remember nearly being in tears at the induction talking about why I wanted to join - I had so little confidence in myself related to exercise. My blood pressure was spiralling out of control, I had issues with my knees & generally needed the support of Personal Best to help me with my goals. From day 1 I haven’t looked back. Classes are brilliant and are quickly adapted for any ability. Each time you attend you are motivated and pushed to do your absolute best. I knew after the 1st week that I would become a regular member - my fitness is improving, I’m loosing weight and inches plus my blood pressure is stable. Everyone at PB are so supportive - the coaches and the other members, it really is like a family. If you’re a bit insecure about gyms or lacking the confidence in exercise, get booked in and you won’t be disappointed. Make the investment in this gym and you’ll be making a solid investment in your health.

I have been to numerous gyms over the years and found them to be too overwhelming after my induction as I can’t remember how to work the machines. At personal best I’ve never felt that, staff recognise straight away if I’m struggling and are happy to help. The classes are great and the app allows me to book what works for my schedule for the week. There’s a mix of age and abilities that attend but everything is adapted to suit individuals. I can’t recommend enough 😊

I initially joined personal bests six week programme after a fractured knee gave me the wake up call I needed to start looking after myself more, and I have decided to keep coming back. As someone that has suffered with debilitating anxiety most of my life, walking through the door can sometimes be the hardest part of it all. The PTs and members have been very welcoming and supportive. It is a community that truly lifts each other up and you can feel that we’re all in this together, no matter what point in your fitness journey you’re at. ❤️

I originally joined Personal Best as part of a 6 week challenge. I was someone who wanted to get fitter and healthier, and had tried managing this on my own several times without much success. The team at Personal Best have been incredibly welcoming and encouraging. The Small Group PT classes have been brilliant for keeping me on track and helping me hit my goals, alongside some great nutritional aims. Group classes have also been incredibly fun and challenging. Personal Best really has formed a great community that I would recommend to anyone looking to start (and make sure they continue) their fitness journey!

I initially joined Personal Best Gym on a 6 weeks menopause challenge. Aswell as losing weight I've more importantly lost inches. I found all the coaches professional, supportive, helpful and motivational but never judgemental. Altering programmes to suit every individuals needs keeping all safe and injury free. I would highly recommend Personal Best to anyone of any age and any fitness level.

From the incredibly knowledgeable, passionate and supportive coaches, the perfectly thought out facilities and amazing range of equipment, the most friendly, welcoming and supportive member community, right down to the brilliant music in every session!! Before joining the six-week challenge at Personal Best, I struggled to fit into gyms. I often felt uncertain about how to use equipment properly and worried about aggravating past injuries, including knee surgeries and a severed achilles tendon. From my first visit, Michael made me feel at ease, and I decided to give the challenge a try despite not having exercised for over a decade. The experience was transformative. As someone who is just getting into hyrox, I really like the classes they do for this. Coaches are very welcoming, supporting and knowledgeable which is exactly what you’re after when coming along. Such a good community and everyone supports and pushes each other. Gym is always very well kept and looked after with good equipment. Highly recommended.

A brilliant team, highly motivating and exceptionaly friendly. There is plenty of top notch equipment in a spacious gym. I would recommend Personal Best to anyone looking to improve there overall health, fitness and wellbeing.

Started with the 6 week challenge whete it gave me the opportunity to experience the Small Group PT sessions and get a look at all the classes… staying on as the coaches are all excellent and shaped a program to my personal needs post operation! I’m learning and adapting training like never before! Highly recommend

I’ve been to many gyms over the years but Personal Best truly is the best! Edyta, Michael and Colin are so encouraging and supportive. I started out with the hyrox classes then went on to do the 6 week challenge and I’m definitely going to continue. I’m already feeling and seeing results and it’s thanks to Personal Best for making the classes so enjoyable and keeping me consistent! There’s an amazing energy, everyone is friendly and motivating. I joined Personal Best in July 2024 for their 6 week men's fitness challenge, and it has been one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. From the very beginning, the environment was incredibly welcoming and supportive, which helped me feel at ease despite my limited 'proper' experience with weightlifting. When I started, I struggled with the correct form on exercises like deadlifts, but thanks to the fantastic coaching team (Colin, Ed, and Mikey) I’ve made incredible progress. They consistently pushed me, motivated me, and provided expert guidance every step of the way. Fast forward to December 2024, I am still a member which is saying something about a 6 week challenge!! I can also confidently say I’m the fittest I’ve ever been! The personalised attention, encouragement, and camaraderie at Personal Best is unmatched compared to my previous experiences of national gym chains. Whether you're a beginner or someone looking to take your fitness to the next level, this is the place to be.

Reviews are not normally something I write but this place definitely deserves one. I went for an induction 10 weeks ago full of anxiety and trying to navigate the symptoms of Peri-menopause. Knowing I needed to try something I joined the 6 week challenge. The support and motivation I have experienced from the amazing team I haven’t felt at any other gym. If you’re looking to join a “fitness family” where you’ll feel encouraged and supported in whatever stage of your life and wellbeing journey then I would definitely encourage you to go and have a chat with the team at personal best you won’t be disappointed.
