Austria Grand Prix was a wonderful weekend again! Only the tickets I bought was at the grandstand first row! I would not do that again. My son couldn’t see much behind the fence and a tractor blocked our view. It was an disappointment. It’s a lot of money for two tickets, but they are not word it on the first row. Last year we where on the redbull F sector, you can see 70% of the track for only €295 per ticket. Then you can enjoy your race.
I received the tickets for F1 Austria GP with 2 weeks before the event. Trust site, for sure I’ll use in the future💪

I booked tickets for this Grand Prix with 3 must haves: 1) seats on a Grandstand 2) with hotel 3) transfers to and from the circuit. All 3 were accomplished. The Grandstand seats in the Villeneuve stand were good enough and although slightly away from the more expensive areas we saw some great action, including the F2 and Porsche races. The Best Western hotel is away from the city centre and is a good standard as you would expect. Breakfast was included in the price and this was a good standard. Organisation for the transfers seemed to work well, with comfortable coaches picking us up about 500metres from the hotel due to the construction of the new tramways currently in progress, throughout Bologna. This was a very minor inconvenience and managed well by P1. There seemed to be a little confusion about what time to return to coach park, but Diego and Leonardo managed this with texts etc Getting out of the Car Park was a nightmare. I didn’t see this as a P1 fault as it seemed to be a general free for all and the roads around the area were gridlocked. I applaud our 2 drivers for getting through, manoeuvring the vehicles through some very tight spaces and getting us back to the hotel despite traffic jams on all the main roads! It seemed as if everyone in the Bologna area was on the road at the same time. The one thing I don’t understand is that everyone’s hotel booking had a checkout day of the race day. I picked up on this quite early on and requested an extension of a night so that we could make our way home comfortably on the Monday. This took a little bit of time getting acknowledgment, but we got there eventually. (I recognise that some of the delay was partially my own fault for not seeing one of the replies) I wonder if, for future events, the extra day might be included as an option? I understand that not everyone would want it and many people got back to the hotel and headed straight for the airport, no doubt having to get up for work the next day. I hope they all got their flights ok. The ticketing arrangements worked well and although we travelled a bit earlier, spending some time in Florence before getting a train into Bologna, tickets were sent out in good enough time to print ( as a back up). A great weekend, a comfortable stay in a beautiful city with an action packed Race thrown in! Grazie!!
