I was a customer for awhile deactivated my account tried to get reactivate did everything they ask for security reason I guess had different customer service reps tell me different way to send id etc 4 times and everything I did was not good enough so I will look into other options so frustrating

Had an account. Went to go grab some groceries- MoneyLion had closed the account in the dead of night. No reason given sans the canned Demand Deposit Account blah blah. Called customer service and they said that they wouldn’t refund, reopen, return what was left there. Had been paying into the credit builder loan as well. Totally shady, potentially illegal. Customer Service sucked as well totally incompetent and incapable of thinking about the current situation and providing an answer. Also weren’t they supposed to remove the crypto feature from accounts?

Geez, so MoneyLion is behind ENGINE, a platform for borrowers to meet lenders. So, I submitted my request, gave my bank details, my socia security number, bank info, and where I work. The website, quickly made a contract and all i had to do was click the box with e-signature. Of course, I didn't because the amount offered was less than 10% of what I requested. The loan company was MaxLend, and they were expecting me to sign a 704% interest rate. Yes, SEVEN HUNDRED FOUR PERCENT interest rate. with payment of $300+ for every biweekly pay period. The loan amount was for $1050. The payback was $5,000+. How could this platform allow this finance company onto their platform.

Steer away from this website. They do more bad than good. My account was closed by them for no reasons, I requested to withdraw my money that is left in the account but I have been unable to do so. It's over 3 months now and their support stopped responding to my calls and emails. I gave TON TRADING a chance by investing with them, this is one of the best decision I made. My payouts are consistent without delays. I endorse them.

I use the instacash app on 2/10/25 and paid back 489.00, on 3/28/2025 Money lion went ahead took another 489.00 !!!!!!!!!!!! I have tried to retrieve my money back from money lion and now the customer service number has been disconnected. I have been scammed, THE E POLICE ARE LAUCHING A INVESTGATION. Update on this review a customer advocate has reached out to me four weeks ago and I still have not had my money returned back to me. This company is a scam. I’ve been dealing with this since March 31. Please be aware.

This company will not let me delete the account. I’ve had issues with customer service whoanswer the phone and will give me the run around about deleting the account and why I have to go through other people. I get an email from another person saying she is handling the case and won’t answer or respond to phone calls. All I want is the account completely closed.

I am writing this review to warn everyone to stay far away from the Moneylion app. They falsely advertise that they help improve your credit score, but in my experience, they did the exact opposite and actively damaged it further. Their methods are unclear and seem designed to mislead users. Despite their promises, I saw a significant decrease in my credit score after using their services. When I tried to contact their customer support, it was unresponsive and unhelpful, offering no explanation or resolution for the negative impact they had. This app is not just ineffective; it is actively harmful. If you are looking to improve your credit, Moneylion is the last place you should turn. They are a scam preying on people's financial vulnerabilities and will only make your situation worse.

I closed my loan account and verified where I wanted my funds to be deposited, and they deposited into an account I haven't used in this app since 2022, and it's closed. They told me there's nothing they can do, even though I have the transcripts of my conversation with the representative confirming the correct account. Don't trust this company at all; it's fraudulent. Update I have talked with someone in your company and they have made up lies and I have transcripts every conversation. It even shows that I picked one certain account and you guys did another account and I will be taking it up to higher levels, and in order to get this resolved, you guys should reach out to me. I have contacted your company multiple times even had Employee hang up on me and in chats as we’re talking.

My account was closed by them a couple of months ago, I asked them on how I can get the remaining money in it? They told me I will be receiving an email for the instructions. it has been months with nothing from them. Give me back my money!

One star because I couldn’t give zero. Moneylion used to be good to me and something changed about a year ago and now it’s just unbelievable. They offer products but when you go to link your bank account to the product so you can utilize them they don’t even List their own bank. Money line is an option so for the loans and the “credit building perks“ are virtually useless. But they sure take out their fees every month they send you random options for Credit building and then or cash advances etc., and when you try to take advantage of them, and of course you have to have a MoneyLion account to do this BUT!! your Moneylion account IS NOT an option to repay the loans or the advances so they are useless. I can’t take advantage of ANY OF THE SO-CALLED ADVANTAGES BECAUSE THEY DON’T EVEN ACCEPT THEMSELVES AS A REPAYMENT OPTION!! BECAUSE THEY’RE NOT A BANK I GUESS IT’S RIDICULOUS. I HAD AT LEAST FIVE LOANS WITH THEM ALL IN GOOD STANDING ALL PAID OFF ON TIME AND THEN SUDDENLY I DIDN’T QUALIFY OR BETTER YET I COULDN’T REPAY THEM WITH MY MONEYLION ROLL MONEY ACCOUNT BECAUSE IT WASN’T LISTED AS A REPAYMENT OPTION SO I WENT TO THE WOW ACCOUNT JUST TO HAVE THE SAME NONSENSE. THE ONLY REASON I KEEP THIS ACCOUNT IS BECAUSE I DON’T WANNA GO THROUGH THE HASSLE OF CHANGING MY SOCIAL SECURITY PAYMENT AND THEY DO ALLOW ME INSTA CASH SINCE I’M WRITING THIS THEY’LL PROBABLY CUT THAT OFF TOO.. welcome to Moneylion y’all oh and if you try and get a manager, they just hang up on you or tell you that you’ll get the same response and then they tell you that there’s no way possible no human can override their algorithms if it were me, I’d probably start looking at mysystem because we’re real people and not everybody lives on algorithm and if you can’t control your own company and override things I would look at some different software whatever it is what it is.

They allowed my account to get hacked and take over 1300 dollars from me. Then the investigation was supposed to be completed in 5-10 days. It’s been almost a month and nothing, then I was told I didn’t need to pay anything back until the investigation was complete. They took more money from me and they actually owe me money I have now lost 2 grand to this company with no resolution. Been on hold waiting for a manger for over an hour and they are “truly sorry for this inconvenience”

The worse experience ever. After I stopped using their services, they continued to draft monthly fees out of my account for an extended period of time.. When I tried to get a refund they gave me the run around and stopped responding completely. I would never recommend moneylion and I encourage others to look at the reviews before using any company for services.

I'm glad the State of New York ihas filed a lawsuit against Money Lion predatory lending Overcharged me for $1000 loan at $2500. Ripoff I'm going to get all my money now

Signed up for a referral bonus. It’s been 5 months and 5 calls into support. Still nothing has been disbursed. Money Liar is more like it

Absolutely horrible they will make you buy a membership and then once your verified they’ll randomly unverify your account and refuse services that you pay for and have already used and paid back on time and then they will have you do really strange things that is very challenging so they can deny your ticket over and over but that’s just my personal experience and my honest review this is coming from me and me only

My account was locked due to suspicious activities, the wait for retention center to get back to me is inconvenient and on top of that when I called customer service again to ask for what exact reason my account was locked they tell me all they know is that it’s suspicious activities, I then ask them so basically this can happen at any time since I have no idea what the reason behind them locking my account is and he tells me yes that’s basically the case. Definitely don’t feel comfortable leaving my money is MoneyLion if at any point my account can be locked for reasons not even MoneyLion knows.

Money lion put a hold on my account and they didn't contact me to let me know. And that is poor customer service. But they want they money asap.
