Mode Rentals Reviews

Perfect, car rent experience is very good, the car, the staff. They are very friendly amd no other hidden charge. Wonderful and well done!

From start to finish was excellent service. Vehicle was in excellent condition, communication and value for money was great. All round great experience and will use again. Thank you

I booked a rental car for my move using one of the relocation deals. Everything worked out perfectly. I picked up the car in Christchurch on Sunday. The staff were very friendly and the car was in good and clean condition. I really enjoyed the drive to Queenstown. The return of the car on Monday went smoothly and I received my bond back shortly. Thank you Mode Rentals

The app didn't work, so more time was wasted doing the duplicate admin work on collection. Also staff never appeared to acknowledge the need to be speedy at drop off

This is a good company renting decent cars for a reasonable price. They are open and honest about their policies and procedures and at the end of the rental are quick to acknowledge the return condition and to remove the holding amount. They are prompt and polite with transfers and even drop a client at a hotel if it is near the airport. Overall two good experiences with Mode and there will be more.

The team in Wellington are amazing always a smileand happy people to deal with, make for a pleasent start to my holiday back in Nz every time I visit

Quick pick up from the airport, really efficient check in and drop off process and car was in really good condition

Over the years we have used Mode a number of times and always found the staff very helpful and assisting us in the hiring of a car. Also we found that the cars were always clean and very reliable making the journey stress free.

From start to go very easy. picked up and dropped off, with a good reliable car. Thank you. Neil

I can’t fault Mode. From the lowest of my quotes to receiving an upgraded little hybrid Yaris, I was so impressed. Was a joy to drive and unbelievably affordable to run. Checking in and out with the airport nearby was a breeze. I will be booking with Mode again in the near future. Thanks so much.

Pick up and drop off was super easy, the prices were fair and I had zero issues. I even got to extend my rental by a day on short notice

Very happy with Mode out of Christchurch. Good car, good people and an easy transaction experience at a good rate. We will use Mode at every opportunity.

Excellent service. Quick pick up and drop off. Car was ready for me. Consultant was friendly and efficient. Will definetly use Mode Rentals again. Thank you

We hired a rav 4 Toyota for nearly 3 weeks & travelled around north island. The car was comfort & the people we dealt with were friendly and professional. The price was good value. And everything was smooth to deal with.

Very easy process and very affordable will definitely use again was super easy to book online

Excellent Service and vehicle. It was value for money and pleased overall! Staff were great when being picked up and dropped off and admin staff staff! 10/10

Great price, great communication, will definitely use again!

1) The 12seater Van behind driver sit at right door has a very noisy sound when driving at state road. it was disrupted our peace in mind to rest. it should not be given to us with such problem. 2) the office staff at office very not politely when collect the car. staff should be keep friendly to clients.

To . The Wellington Office. Wow, we recently rented a Toyota Yaris from your Wellington branch and just wanted to say how fantastic the whole experience was! Booking was super easy, and everything was exactly as advertised – no surprises! What really stood out was how flexible your team were with the rental and how simple it was to return the car.  The airport shuttle option was a lifesaver too. Plus, the two staff members we dealt with were amazing. They went above and beyond to follow up and make the entire rental process smooth and stress-free. Huge thanks to the whole team!

Had a great experience with Mode Rentals. A special thanks to the staff member (I think her name was Esthapano) who picked us up from Queenstown Airport; she was friendly, professional, and had excellent communication. The whole process was smooth and stress-free. Highly recommend Mode for anyone renting a car in New Zealand
