Very good prices, delivery took a little while (hence the 4 stars), but arrived well packed. Was a little concerned after reading the reviews, but unnecessary, will use again.

dormant on companies house, to an opend busines, but website still taking payments. Just a scam. no reponse to emails, contact for doesnt work, must be money laundering or just a basic scam.

Terrible experience, and absent customer service or consideration We ordered some Phantom Bogle from their website on 10th July and other than the confirmation email, heard nothing from them for weeks. When we chased them up they eventually admitted that they didn't actually have the stock to sell, and were awaiting a delivery themselves they were expecting for around mid to late August. This deadline came and went and in early September we chased again (having received no contact from them whatsoever). They then advised that they were expecting it by the end of that week They then explained that the original money had been returned and then advised us that we had to re-order! At this point we opted not to trust them further given the above experience, as essentially they had already reneged on the contract to supply once (citing their own terms and conditions which essentially allow them to simply let you down without consequence) Essentially, they take your order in the first instance for wine they simply do not possess and unlike more reputable websites, there is no way of knowing that they wine you are purchasing is not actually (in our case) even in the country! Simply put - terrible. Don't let the prices fool you - better to stick with a more established wine seller. Avoid.
Only half my order was delivered, when I contacted them to sort out (took a few emails before I got a response) MoD claimed the whole order was delivered, but I never received the wine. AVOID.
Ordered a wine advertised on website as 2017/18 vintage, after a long delay the 2020 vintage arrived. I queried and was basically told 'its equivalent, our T&C permit us to alter, it's as good as the 2017 & you can send back at your own cost'. In our opinion it isn't as good and needs time to develop. I have never received such poor customer service, most wine suppliers will exchange or refund at their cost, we will not use again.
Ordered wine on the 1st September. Dispatch email sent 21st September, by 1st October it still hadn’t arrived, contacted them to be told ‘there were no funds available’….. there were. Couldn’t answer when I asked if that was the case why a) they didn’t contact me and b) sent me a dispatch email. Awful customer service won’t be ordering again
DO NOT BUY FROM THESE PEOPLE. An absolute joke of a company. Placed an order 3 weeks ago and have chased with several emails to find out where it is. No reply on any occasion. There's no way to contact them other than by message/email. (They say they have Live Chat, but they don't).
Why can't I rate ZERO? Ordered special drinks for a special occasion. Placed order 9 days in advance... they said 'in stock' + delivery was £8!! for 2 bottles!! No response... chased them 5 days later..... 'We're just about to send' but too late arrival for my event. Cancelled order and gave them the feedback of my disappointment.... Jason from ministryofdrinks reply was 'Whatever' Good job he's not working for me. Don't waste your time with this lazy, inefficient and rude outfit. There are LOTS of alternatives. John
Ordered 12 bottles of Pinot Noir. The order quoted 5-10 days for dispatch. I received notification of delivery and a text giving a one hour delivery time slot which was accurate. Arrived today which is the 10th day so no complaints. Thanks for a good service.
Order has been placed two weeks ago, no answer to my emails nor messages. This company is a scam or my money has been stolen.
I was a bit apprehensive about ordering after some of the reviews.But I can't fault the service.As all arrived fast and packaged very well.Plus I get my favourite wine.Thanks very much
I placed an order with this company on the 3rd June 2021. I have written to this company, asking for a status report on where my wine is. I received one update on the 8th June stating that they were awaiting supply from their supplier. Payment has been taken, and here we are 25 days later and I do not have a clue where the goods are. Customer Service levels at this business is appalling.
I ordered from them before reading any of these reviews which had me quite worried. The payment took two days to clear due to it being taken from Italy, once it did the product arrived within roughly 2+ working days (ordered on Sunday and arrived on Wednesday morning at 10am). The bottle was a little dusty, potentially due to the packaging and I am not sure it was super well protected relative to the packaging other suppliers have shipped bottled to me in the past. However it arrived and was on time so I cannot complain.

Not very happy about the way I have been treated by Ministry Of Drinks. I thought I had found a new reliable supplier, but sadly not. My order still has not arrived after 3 weeks, 2 bottles of Gin!!! The contact number I called just rings and rings, and sadly I had to keep emailing for updates, sometimes I get response, others nothing..... Turns out I got service quicker and cheaper from a local Supermarket.
Found a drink on here that you can't buy anymore in the supermarkets. Reasonably priced and delivered fast. Was kept up to date with each step. Happy....so much bad service around it's good to experience some good :)
Purchased a favourite South African rose yesterday and it was delivered today, even with regular postage. The packaging looks like you could safely throw it off the roof of the house. Absolutely no complaints.
I've ordered a Gin , an Black-Eagle and Tequila.. Get all the dinks so quick than thought.. Price is reasonable with free home delivery.. Such a great customer service.. Hope to order again from here.. Like the service much.
I've ordered once with MOD - quite a while ago without issues so when I was looking to invest in a few bottles of a wine I can usually only find in a Gastro pub (which I can't get to because of covid) and MOD had it in stock I placed my order without concern. Only after ordering did I happen upon this trust pilot page and all the worrying reviews. I admit I panicked and started to think I should cancel (paid via paypal) but after ordering very late on a Friday night I got a dispatch email the following Monday and 6 perfectly packed bottles arrived Tue. Just in time for Tuesday roast. I know. We are weird in this house. I didn't need to contact them so I can't comment on verbal communication from the company but I'm very happy with the condition of the wine, the speed of delivery and that they stock a wine I can't find many places. The comments about the company being closed down or something obviously aren't true and I have not been asked or paid to leave this review. Maybe Covid caused lots of issues at some point for them like all retailers?
Great price. They even gave me a vintage "upgrade", although I guess that could be something to watch out for if you were after something really specific. I was worried after reading all the 1 star reviews, but I got several updates and the order arrived 7 days after ordering. Very well packaged. Only downside was the slow-ish delivery.
My wife and I are whisky collectors and we both ordered a bottle of Hibiki Harmony separately from this company. She has had hers delivered but when I chased up my order I got an email saying only 1 bottle per address. On their website it clearly states 1 bottle per customer not per address and they had already sent me an email confirming my order. I pointed this out to them and they have just ignored me and the product is now out of stock. Shame really as we have just spent £1500 on malt whisky but will not be buying from this company again.
