Efficient and Informative
Informative, about the work being carried out. Including options if preferred. Efficient from arriving to completion of the job. Mike Harris Aerials gave a very reasonable quote. Especially for all the work undertaken.
Mike Harris Aerial & Satellite is exceptionally well-rated by customers. Customers particularly appreciate service and professional, though some mention concerns about customer service and communication.

After my initial request for help Alma arrived 8.30 am next day. He very efficiently sorted out serious aerial/splitter problems for my bedroom tv. He gave me back my bedroom tv/pvr. An excellent and very quick and efficient service.
Service was speedy and effortless. Called to make an enquiry about a TV Aerial removal at 9 in the morning, received a call around 10:30 from Alma (the engineer) to confirm time they will be at my property, and by 12 noon, work was complete. Neatly done, items taken away for disposal, and more importantly Alma was very professional and very accommodating as I was in a work meeting when he arrived. I highly recommend
Big thank you to Alma for a quick and tidy job All sorted with in 2 hours of calling.Would definitely use again and recommend to friends and family 😀

The engineer rang in advance of his arrival to give an eta. On arrival he asked for a rundown of the problem and installed a new rooftop aerial. The inside connections were a little confusing but he identified the need to lift the floorboards to access an existing splitter to connect the two tv’s without signal. The tv’s had been tuned to a transmitter with a weaker signal and he re-tuned them manually to the stronger transmitter signal. He was very pleasant throughout and explained each stage as he progressed.
I have absolutely no qualms in recommending this company. The process from my enquiry to job completion was highly professional. And a call out to the engineer who surveyed and completed the work, David, who went above and beyond. What a star. It’s also reassuring that all works carried out is covered by a 1 yr guarantee.
Had made an appointment for them to wall mount tv, bloke came round quoted and I organised for next day, fine no problem. Waited in all day only for them to ring at 4pm ish saying that they couldn’t get somebody to me so will have to cancel so we rearranged for next day and then the same thing happened. I appreciate that things out of your control happen in life and business but I got the feeling that they never had any intention of turning up but I could be wrong and would prefer abit of honesty as then you could give them some wriggle room. I’m putting it down to them having a bad day but looking at previous reviews there’s a “pattern” forming which suggests an underlying issue.
Absolutely disgusting and appalling lack of customer service. Had an appointment for them to attend our Motorhome, after booking two weeks before, and they cancelled it. I was waiting at home and they didn’t have the decency or courtesy to tell me. Apparently they don’t do Motorhomes, but was told no problem when I booked. Avoid this company like the plague.
I would actually give a zero if I could! Do not use the company! I am so annoyed! I called all morning and explained that I needed the job doing asap - I was told I would get a callback - no one called- I called about 6 times and then get told that the job has been rescheduled for 3-4 - but no one told me. I am so annoyed at this - and then to top it off I spoke with the most rudest person! I explained everything and he was more than happy to cancel the job - which obviously I did / I was already upset that I had to get this done and it was stressful and then this ! DO NOT USE
Two days wasted waiting for engineers to mount my TV on the wall . First engineer didn’t have cables to do the job , the second engineer called after l complained and told me he didn’t have any mounting brackets or cables to do the job and sound like to me he couldn’t be bothered. Finally the third engineer didn’t bother turning up , even though their office assured me he would. What an absolute crap company.
Time wasters! Phoned to get help with an aerial solution for my elderly mother on Friday and promised a same day call out... NO SHOW. Called again and was "Promised" if I waited in Saturday, someone would call between 11am - 2pm. NO SHOW! The lesson learned is: don't book Mike Harris unless you love time wasters.
My mother-in-law has dementia and occasionally forgets how to use the TV; one afternoon she came to me saying that the TV was stating there was no signal, so my wife and I visited to find that she had merely flicked it onto a different input channel. We checked the set-top box, ensured there was a good signal, re-tuned the channels to make sure they were up to date, put it back on the correct input and all was well. The next day we received a phonecall from her stating that she'd had the same problem again, but that we shouldn't worry; She had called an engineer round to see what the problem was and to put it right. We were confused, as we knew everything was working fine when we left the previous day, and we were confident she'd simply changed the channel again, so we asked to speak to the engineer, who confirmed his name was Mike Harris of 'Aerial Express' (which I believe he is affiliated with). According to Mike, there was 'water in the ingress', which caused us concern, as the word 'ingress' is the act of entering something (ie. there is evidence of water ingress inside) and thus this statement made no sense. We asked for clarification on whether he was referring to the LMB - 'yes' he replied, but it was alright - he could repair (ie. drain) it for the reasonable price of £360. This IMMEDIATELY rang alarm bells; firstly the LMB is weather-proof. Secondly he didn't seem to know what it was that had water in it. Thirdly, in order to have found water inside, he would have had to open it and drain some (if not all) of the water out already, and we struggled to see how this process could cost £300+ to complete. Lastly, even if he was telling the truth, and the LMB was full of water, beyond repair, the cost to replace the LMB is around £30 for a decent one, and the procedure to fit it can be performed in under an hour. This would have easily been the cheaper and better long-term solution to the apparent issue, and we can only assume Mike wasn't aware of this, something we found unacceptable in his professional position. When we challenged him on his diagnosis, stating that all was fine the previous day (with no rain between), and she had likely just changed the channel, Mike said he would phone the office to see if he could get a discount, before handing the phone back to my mother-in-law and walking out of the room. As we questioned my mother-in-law on the issue further, Mike re-entered the room, in a time period almost impossible for any meaningful phonecall, and proudly announced that he could repair the LMB for £260. This to us was the final straw; he'd managed to cut the price significantly, without any effort on his part or pressure from us to do so, suggesting strongly that he knew he was overcharging for the job. At this point we politely declined and asked him to leave immediately, and a couple of minutes later, he did. We organised to visit my mother-in-law the next day to understand what had happened and what the engineer had done. On arrival, we examined the FreeSat box and found that the coaxial lead had been removed from the rear of the box, with the centre pin bent. We checked the LMB/dish and saw no problems or signs of water. After straightening out the coaxial lead, screwing it back into position and re-tuning the FreeSat box, everything was working as it should have been. Criminally inept, or just plain criminal. AVOID AT ALL COSTS.
Very quick response, rapid reliable service and keeping to agreed timeslot. Completed and covered everything that needed doing and was able to quote/agree all at once with everything required already on board van which was great so the job was completed in a very timely orderly manner. More than pleased and satisfied with the overall experience and would use/recommend again .
