Dirty, no air con. Pubic hairs all over the place, on the beds, in the shower. Stains on the sheets and no mattress protectors. Still waiting to hear back for a refund/compensation.

Bed sheets smelled liked a dog had been laying on it for a week, world smallets Rom compared to we paid 116 Euro. We told the manager, and she denied the smell, but it was horrific. DONT GO TO THIS HOTEL, its a hostel but worse.

They are Fraud, denied to refund money for hotel which was booked accidently for next day rather than next month. No humanity shown and no mercy that how anyone could book a hotel the very next day and they cancelled for no show.
A fuir!!!!! Service client catastrophique. Annulation, ok on n'est pas remboursé mais changement de date pour le lendemain et en plus la demande est fait >7 jours avant. C'est juste honteux. L'entreprise se cache derrière les clauses que vous êtes censé avoir lu comme tout le monde bien sûr. Ce sont des clauses ABUSIVES. C'est beaucoup moins cher qu'ailleurs? Bien sur par ce que c'est une arnaque!!! Fuyez pauvres fous....
Je suis tombé malade la veille de mon séjour, que j’avais réservé via Hostelworld avec des conditions non remboursables. J’ai contacté le support client, qui s’est montré totalement inflexible. « le service offre une réduction de prix contre des conditions strictes, notamment la possibilité d’annuler », m’ont-ils rétorqué quand je leur ai demandé s’il n’était pas au moins possible d’avoir un crédit total ou partiel pour que je puisse venir chez eux à une date ultérieure. Les auberges de jeunesse étant habituellement des établissements arrangeants et à taille humaine, je vous recommande de les fuir.
They treated me poorly I have astma, and they locked the window because a bird shitted on them from our window and they blamed it on us. The food is bad, and the staff are mean and unfriendly. I would not recommend going here.
Das schlimmste Hotel, in dem ich je war. Für die 1. 000 Euro, die ich für zwei Personen in 7 Tagen bezahlt habe, hatte ich bessere Bedingungen erwartet. Der Boden im Zimmer war dreckig von den vorherigen Gästen, die Kissen waren so abgenutzt, als wären sie Jahrzehnte alt, hart, als hätte man Steine in die Mitte gestreut. Das Waschbecken im Bad war dreckig, als wäre es seit Wochen nicht gewaschen worden. In der Dusche war Schimmel, die Tür zur Duschkabine war kaputt. Keine Klimaanlage, aber es gab immer ein Geräusch von einem Ventilator in der Wand, der warme Luft in den Raum blies. Kein Wasserkocher und Tee oder Kaffee. Einziges Plus ist die Lage des Hotels am Berliner Hauptbahnhof. Offensichtlich nutzen die Hotelbehörden diese Tatsache aus und bieten den Gästen katastrophale Bedingungen an.
The room was very small, and too hot without cooling or the possibility to open a window and air the room. On top of that we were charged twice for the same stay. We signaled this risk when checking in, but they assured that this had never happened before and that we should not worry about this. When we wrote to the info-desk to report the double charge, they simply told us to arrange this with our bank. We are still waiting for the second charge to be deposited back on our bank account. Very bad service.

Ich bin für meinen Arbeitgeber leider immer wieder mal in unterschiedlichen Meininger Hotels. Grundsätzlich sind die Häuser ganz ok, aber als Gruppe ist man „Gast 2. Klasse“. Gruppengäste werden mit einem Armband gekennzeichnet und haben damit keinen freien Zugang zum Frühstück, sondern müssen sich an einen exakten Timeslot halten. Sie gelten als potentielle Troubleshooter und bekommen beim Check-In ein „Welcome-Briefing“, in dem die Hausregeln erläutert werden - viele, viele Regeln, man fühlt sich kaum willkommen. Als Lehrer/Gruppenleiter hat man viele Zusatzaufgaben (Dauer ca. 3 Stunden), u.a. fordert Meininger das Ausfüllen eines Formulars mit allen Namen, Geburtsdatum und Nationalität, obwohl alle Infos übermittelt wurden - schlicht zu bequem, die Daten selbst zu verarbeiten. Dafür sind die Preise dann zu hoch: Jugendherbergs-Standard zum Preis eines 3*-Hotels.
Eines der schlechtesten Hotels, in dem ich je untergekommen bin. Die Fenster lassen sich nicht öffnen, kein room-service, miserables Frühstück. Selbst Handtücher und Toilettenpapier waren nicht vorhanden. Immerhin das Personal war freundlich. Zum Preis von 140 € pro Nacht ist dieses Hotel die letzte Option. Schlimm, wenn möglich, jedes andere Hotel buchen.
Don't book a stay with this company. My booking was cancelled due to the pandemic and they never refunded me. They have effectively stolen 500 euro from me.
Sono stata al Meininger di Roma, vicino alla stazione ed è andato tutto bene. Personale affabile e sorridente, camere pulite, ambienti colorati e clima positivo. Tornerò sicuramente, il rapporto qualità prezzo è ottimo!
Ventede 8 timer på værelse der alligevel ikke var rent, og fik ingen refundering. Ventede derefter en time yderligere på værelset, på trods af de sagde i receptionen at det ville være klar efter 30 minutter. Morgenmaden var dårlig og der var pladsmangel ved “buffeten”. Alt i alt skuffende oplevelse, og spild af penge.

Had a holiday booked in Copenhagen for 3 nights just before Christmas. Unfortunately my ex wife abducted my children and I wouldn't be able to take them. I explained this to customer services and asked for a credit note if at all possible. Just got quoted standard line and basically told tough luck. Will never use again or recommend.

I recently stayed at Meininger Brussels City Centre hotel. The rooms were big, clean and most comfortable. The staff was very welcoming and helpful. The decor, location, vibe of the hotel was very delightful. I would definitely recommend and stay again!
If I only could give this hotel zero stars! Where to begin. First they cancel our booking and don't care that we have a booking confirmation e-mail and make us pay 50 euro more for a new exact same booking. We had to say yes, as it was late at night and we really couldn't find anywhere else at that time. It was really noise, dirty and people kept coming into our room while we where sleeping on the last day. Would really recommend people to stay away!
