Helpful, honest and reassuring service
After a completely surprising charge made by the CPS against my son, and having never been in such a position before, I googled Criminal Lawyers.
Mary Monson came up & in a blind panic, I contacted them for advice. Edmund who took the initial details of the case from me asked key questions & made some useful suggestions. He also introduced us to Chris, who provided very realistic information on the events & how he would expect them to unfold. Chris was most helpful, seeking further information directly from the police & had a number of Zoom calls with us, before we even officially instructed him. All the advice Chris gave us was honest, to the point & realistic. He supported us in obtaining as much information & case details as we could from the CPS & even secured us a respected QC, Mike Brady, to represent our son in court. Mike was also very helpful, strategic in his approach & down to earth. Everyone we dealt with was really personable & approachable. The only challenge I would raise is the uphill struggle they faced getting anything timely out of the CPS - not helpful when you’re trying to defend your innocence. The system feels so unjust, with all the work in the arena of the defence to prove innocence, despite this country’s declaration of the opposite!
