Terrible customer service. I deeply regret shopping at this store. They delivered the wrong items, and now they refuse to issue a refund until I return them—despite the fact that I’m severely ill and unable to go out. I’ve called multiple times to report their mistake, yet their customer service is utterly unhelpful. I asked for the nearest DPD drop-off point and was sent links to locations at least a 17-minute drive away! I honestly can’t believe this. Instead of taking responsibility, they expect me to fix their error. Zero stars. Absolutely disappointing.…

This was one of the worst experiences we’ve had. We ordered fish online, trusting it would be fresh and worth the high price we paid. Unfortunately, the fish we received was completely spoiled and rotten. It was truly a pathetic experience. Please be cautious and don’t blindly trust sellers like this—ensure you verify the quality first. What we received wasn’t even 50-60% of what was promised.

Asked for frozen fish and also paid extra for cool packaging, but everything came fully thawed. then they apologised and sent another lot free of charge and as before all came fully thawed. Not good frozen food packaging. My advice is don't bother buying frozen food from them

Awful store. Arranged jasmine garlands for wedding, to arrive 3 days before. Despatched immediately despite me emailing repeatedly No answer ever from any customer services. Total waste of money had to throw them all away as dying after 4 days….2 weeks before wedding Avoid if you need anything for wedding

I’ve ordered from here many times now—especially for their mangoes. I’m really grateful that they stock a wide variety, not just the usual popular ones. We’ve had a few issues along the way. Customer service can be a bit slow and sometimes requires follow-up, but they’ve always resolved things in the end. All in all, a good experience!

I’m extremely disappointed with my recent experience. I ordered a 1kg PRE-ORDER VILLAIMEEN UNCLEANED fish and received it on a Saturday. The moment I opened the package, it had a strong, unpleasant smell. I followed all proper cleaning and cooking methods (including a traditional Indian recipe), but the fish was clearly spoiled. I had to throw the entire dish away. When I contacted customer service to request a refund, I was told I had not reported the issue within 24 hours—as if spoiled fish magically expires at exactly 24 hours. This is unreasonable and dismissive of real quality concerns. Additionally, the mangosteen I received was tiny and not worth the price. This experience shows a lack of accountability and poor customer service. I will not be ordering from them again, and I strongly suggest others think twice before trusting the quality of the products or the support behind them.

Useless and inefficient customer support team who cannot understand basic requirements.

Disappointed with Expired Products & Poor Customer Service I recently placed an order with Lakshmi stores and had a terrible experience. They delivered products that were over a year old and set to expire within a week. On top of that, I ordered a specific leafy vegetable, but they substituted it with a completely different one which I am allergic to and without informing me. I immediately reached out to customer service, and while they initially acknowledged my complaint, it has now been over 10 days with no response. This is unacceptable, especially when it comes to food safety and customer health. I expected better transparency and service, but unfortunately, this experience has left me extremely disappointed. I won’t be ordering from here again, and I advise others to check expiry dates carefully if shopping here

Terrible company. Second time having issues with this company. Two items from my order were missing and after multiple emails and calls no refund yet. Waste of time and extremely poor customer service. Won't be using them again Having to raise the issue with the credit card company now

Initially a bit wary but decided to give this store a chance. No regrets. excellent quality products, great value, packed well and dispatched promptly, despite it being in the middle of the holiday season. Thoroughly recommend this store for anyone who enjoys cooking Asian food and doesn't want to buy small amounts of spices etc from UK supermarkets at double the price.

I love this store, it has loads of products from India that are simply not sold here in the usual supermarkets. Delivery times are slightly long and they sometimes don't have the items in stock but they do communicate this to you.

I’m impressed with the timely delivery and exceptional customer support. One of the items I ordered was unavailable in the brand I selected, but they promptly contacted me to offer an alternative, ensuring I was satisfied with the change. The packaging was done with great care, especially for fragile items. I highly recommend Laxmi Stores for their excellent service and thoughtful handling!

Poor customer service, sending wrong items and online delivery also noticing missing and stale products, pathetic delivery

Do not buy from this store the send damaged and defective items my fresh food was delayed by the courier had missing item rotten mangoes no matter what you do say once the order is delivered seller isn't gonna be helpful at all

Bad customer services experience, always cheap tricks to fool the customers and try avoiding the returns and refunds - I'm not going to buy anything from lakshmistores in the future and I'm going to inform all my friends and families to do so as well.

Never saw the reviews before, but realising now it’s all true. They never agree to their fault or sincerely apologise. Don’t even expect a refund or replacement for the damaged product you got. They don’t care about being fair and providing good service to their customers. Broomstick I order (priced ridiculously high) came in a small box folded into half and broken. When contacted I was told to reattach the broken things and use it. Don’t ever buy fragile or perishable things from them.

extremely sad with purchase , they sent poor quality thotapuri mangoes which was ripe , ideally they should be RAW , they think its ok to send perishable products in poor quality in UK which is sad ! they dont offer refunds because they dont want to make loss , but would like to consume poor quality product they send , which was binned.

It is a negative rating. Liars, pathetic and poor service. Mangoes were rotten and full of worms. Bloody team does note even respond to the calls, messages or emails. They deserve to be reported. Let us get this shameless liars off from the business. They better refund the amount to all customers.
