Kaplan…the proof is in the pudding.
Kaplan does a great job at systematically preparing you to take the NCLEX. Little by little, it builds up your confidence in using strategies to answer questions you have never seen before. I am glad my school used it to prepare us for the exam, because based on our cohort NCLEX results, it was a successful method.

The 3 day kaplan review session really…
The 3 day kaplan review session really helped ease my test anxiety. Having a clear head and low stress levels going in to the exam is paramount for good performance and having to personally deal with anxieties of all different kinds, i was concerned about being able to properly focus on the test questions well enough. The kaplan review gave me the tools and analytical skills to tackle each question properly to help find the credited answer and going through example questions was a great help in showing that there’s nothing to be anxious over. With the education of a credited nursing program and the tools taught to you though the kaplan review, there’s no reason to dramatically stress over sitting for the board!

Great resource!
There are so many resources to learn the content for the NClex and how to actually approach the questions. I learned so much from the remediation and the live and recorded sessions. It had a step by step process for studying that was helpful too. This is not something I would normally sign up for but it was totally worth it.

It's all about the qbank! And Kaplan has the best.
The best part about Kaplan is undeniably the Qbank. The key to the MBE is not watching videos or reviewing outlines, it is all practice, practice, practice. The MBE can only ask you so many types of questions with so many variations, if you take all the practice questions, you will recognize the same ones on the test and know the answers from experience. I used the tutor mode with 20-50 question intervals to see and understand what I was doing wrong in real time.

Couldn't have passed the California bar…
Couldn't have passed the California bar without Kaplan. They provide all the resources you could possibly need. It's about spending the time and energy and applying the skills they teach. It's an arduous course but Kaplan gives you just what you need and won't waste your time.
