Kaplan…the proof is in the pudding.
Kaplan does a great job at systematically preparing you to take the NCLEX. Little by little, it builds up your confidence in using strategies to answer questions you have never seen before. I am glad my school used it to prepare us for the exam, because based on our cohort NCLEX results, it was a successful method.

Worth it
Attending Kaplan NCLEX review class was instrumental to further my studies for the board exam. The structured curriculum provided a comprehensive overview of all necessary topics to ensure that I’m well prepared in every areas. The instructor was knowledgeable and approachable, offering clear explanations and effective strategies for tackling even the most challenging questions. Slides and workshop okay but if you need to retake do it without delay or pass protection won't cover you (despite the wording on the website)
Materials were well summarised and the question bank was alright (Upper Mark has more of a selection though). I unfortunately enrolled during Covid and due to work and personal reasons, was not able to retake my exam until now. On the site the Pass Guarantee states "If it has been more than 36 months since your initial study package purchase, you may still qualify for a discount under PassProtection." It has been over 36 months for me so I contacted customer service, but upon reaching out, it appears this is not in fact true. So just a heads up - if you intend to use the Pass Protection function, make sure you do it soon and do not wait. Slightly disappointing but I would still recommend the materials and the summary workshop.

A SURE PASS!
A SURE PASS! The site is straight forward with adequate materials. I had a well outlined study plan, followed all the phases as per the outline. I took several tests from question trainers, Qbanks and CATS, and I ensured i always remediated them. It really paid off!

A must for a successful step 1
Kaplan step1 test prep gave my review a solid direction. In the field of medicine there’s just too much to study. You can be well versed with a low yield topic. Kaplan review is step 1 specific. The instructors are also effective in simplifying concepts and making it easy to remember.
