Andy Barrell was absolutely fantastic. I can honestly say that he is the best Estate Agent that I have ever dealt with. Nothing was too much trouble and he was very open and honest. I would highly recommend Intercounty Estate Agents to anyone. If I could give more than 5 stars on the rating I would!

I would definitely recommend Intercounty. Every person I dealt with along the way was pleasant and professional. From the initial discussions with Bob, to the first viewings with Olivia and the consequent conversations with Will and Doug. I work in a sales environment and know the lack of empathy that can arise when dealing with people, especially when they are stressed and frustrated, which enevitabley we became during the process. I never felt I wasn’t listened to and that is the greatest asset your team have. Thanks and well done. The only reason I am not giving 5 stars is the recommendation of Intercounty Conveyancing (the dreaded Premier Property Lawyers). This was a let down, as all the positive things I experienced from Intercounty didn’t follow through with PPL. We were given a named conveyancer called Leanne Martin who was pleasant enough but was terrible at communication. She didn’t return calls or email and here phone went straight to answerphone most of the time. I guess these are a big general conveyencer that all the agents use. Unfortunately you end up feeling like you are thrown in a big pot and you become just another number. Why don’t Intercounty strike up a relationship with a local firm and then people may get the same personal positive experience?

Thanks to James and his entire team for letting my property. This is the second year that I have let my property with Intercounty. James and his team are very professional in the way in which they manage the whole process. I thoroughly recommend Intercounty.

I would recommend Simon Parker for good sound advice on mortgages. Very polite helpful man will go to all lengths to help you. I have had Simon assist on two occasions with very complicated requests he has done his upmost to assist and achieve the best results.

Excellent service from Intercounty (Dunmow), selling our house. We certainly made the right choice. I know some folk are tempted to use an online agent, but probably not realising what a good estate agent actually does. It's one thing to publish a few pictures and description on Rightmove, but it's thereon in - once a buyer is found - things need to be closely managed, with constant liaison and chasing between all parties (especially where there is a chain involved - which thankfully there wasn't with ours). A good agent will be experienced in all the pitfalls, potential issues, and help to keep things moving along. The house we are relocating to (which we bought a few months prior to selling this one) was via one such online agent (the most well known one actually) - we were close to pulling out due to incompetence and lack of commitment on their part along with the similarly poor online conveyancers..... There's an old saying - "Pay up and look big"! Sometimes, you really do only get what you pay for. IMO, false economy! Intercounty (we dealt with Andrew, Liz, and Jenny - with Jenny our main contact and driver in our process) were very competent, helpful, and efficient throughout the process, achieving a swift sale and contract process through to exchange. Very happy to recommend, with no qualms at all!

It felt like the whole team knew me and any time I called I was always given an excellent personal service. Everyone I spoke to was always happy to help and as always communication is key and most important. This is where the team excelled. Our property was sold within 2 hours of going on the market and we achieved a very satisfactory selling price. Thanks to Jason and the whole team at Intercounty Harlow, for achieving such a quick sale. It’s clearly a team effort and nice to see in this day and age.
