Very happy with the service I received from the very helpful Timothy at the Winsford depot, especially when I hadn't quite got my measurements right when ordering replacement fence panels. Happy to recommend the company

Would particularly like to thank Rob at the Flint Depot for his excellent job when I purchased some internal doors. Nothing was too much trouble from quoting to delivery. Even when I requested changes to delivery dates he maintained his sense of humour. Thanks again Rob. All the staff I had contact with were friendly and helpful.

Will not be spending with them again. After 2 months waiting on a custom made part to be told 2 weeks lead time and 2 months down the line still no part. Next week….next week, total bull sh!t On investigation with the company they had placed the order with it turns out they hadn’t even approved the drawing so the item hadn’t even gone into manufacture. Hopeless company

I have bought a bathroom from Huws Gray in Hay, Diane has been fabulous. Made the whole thing very easy. The bathroom is very good quality and they stored it for us. Will add a photo when the plumber has finished.

Bought 2 velux windows from Uriah Woodheads Bradford in Feb, and came to fit them. Found a problem with one of the flashings and returned to branch who are now Huws Gray. Depot now looks amazing, user friendly, light bright, not dusty anymore and no more sheets in triplicate. Tony managed to find a replacement flashing at the other Huws Gray depot in Bradford and i bought that. Staff at both branches were so helpful, knowledgeable and friendly. Returned today to explain that it was my fault regards the flashing and needed to return one that i had opened. They didnt need to accept my return, could have charged me return fee but refunded me in full. Would definitely recommend this company even though they are based in Wales...!!! :)

Discusting attitude and customer service over the phone. Wanted a price on fence posts when questioned over sizing I got laughed at in a negative way and the man acted and sounded like I was taking up his time like he had better things to do. Sharp and rude. Quick to cut me off. Made me feel stupid. Huws grey Poulton..... Don't answer the phone if its too much like hard work. Try getting some manners!!

No prices on the website, poor in the 21st century

This has to be a joke. 42 minutes to buy a single short peice of wood. 20 minutes waiting to be let into the wood store area. Once in a brilliant, friendly but hastled guy sorted what I needed. Then 22 minutes clueing to pay. A marked absence of staff and they were ignoring all three of us waiting to pay. Everyone felt totally dismayed by the total disregard shown. Rubbish service.

This company took over Builders Supplies (North West) They have increased prices, sometimes by a third and stopped free local delivery unless you spend 100 quid.

Just wanted to give a "shout out" for Matt in the Plumbstock Division of Saffron Walden Branch - a great guy who went above and beyond in sourcing a replacement radiator for me. Exemplary customer service with a smile... an example to all!

I just wanted to thank and acknowledge the amazing expertise and incredible help I had today from Paul and Craig at the Minera branch of Hughes Grey. These gentlemen went above and beyond what anybody would expect of them. I have been a customer for 10 years at this branch and these gentlemen have always been incredibly knowledgeable, kind, patient and helpful to me but this is the first time that I have taken the time to write a review.
