I don’t normally reply to these rate the experience messages This time I would like to give it a one star I have been driving mewps and scissor lifts for more than 35 years The ipaf tutor took the practical actually said he failed me for not looking around enough I have driven a car for 35 years and never crashed and driven a Mewp for again 35 years and have never had an issue or lost time accident or any complaints I attempted my ipaf practical and the instructor told me 1/2 way through the 3B practical in an aggressive manner that I had reached my limit on mistakes . Honestly made 1 mistake on a machine that I wasn’t familiar with (I went down instead of up) once I have been driving these machines since I was 17.we used to be taught to become familiar with the machine and take your time to get to know it The tutor that instructed the course was from an ex military background and was maybe a bit overzealous. These courses are ment to be enjoyable not a military ( opinionated boot camp) Honestly I will be reluctant to complete any more ipaf courses with yourselves unless the tutors can appreciate and gauge prior experience on these types of machines. Personally I have been driving manual elevated working platforms since 1990 and ipaf didn’t exist My experience Gary
