Completed a SSSTS course at the Beckton…
Completed a SSSTS course at the Beckton branch today and yesterday. Where do I begin… the instructor was an hour late on the first day which he put down to traffic. He proceeded to show us a 2 minute long video which by the end of, he had fallen asleep at his desk and was only awoken by other people on the course. He would constantly take personal phone calls when he was in the middle of explaining something. He must have done this at least three times. On both days, he insisted that we had to stay past the given finish time of 4:30pm for seemingly no reason which had huge implications on childcare/travel/evening plans for a number of people in the class. His style of teaching was very rushed. I have come away from this course with not much extra learning and only managed to pass due to existing knowledge I already had. If you’re looking to sit your SSSTS course with HSS Hire Beckton, I’d run a mile and go with someone else.

The course was well layed out using teaching media for each subject and additional info and advice by the course tutor .The teaching and practical areas where very well layed out and clean and tidy with coffee/ tea facilities available if required.
