Great people to work with

The company is great to work with but shipping is another issue. I ordered parts to repair my fence from storm damage. Was charged $250.00 for shipping and it was sent by UPS. But this is what is ridiculous save another $165 in shipping charges. I had to have it delivered to my church because I would incur the additional charge if sent to my home. But the shipment fit in a regular UPS truck and could've been delivered to my home and it wasn't bulky items.

I received the gate and post I ordered and am very impressed and happy with the products. I noticed it was not painted up inside the top part, but I guess that will not be too noticeable. Shipping was well done, a 4'x 6' aluminum gate on a huge pallet, and the delivery company was excellent to work with and communicated well with me to be sure was there when it arrived. I was not impressed with Hoover's communication with me both at the time of order and after it was ready for shipping. I called to place the order initially and was told they had to check with the factory and I never heard back. I called some time (week or so) and then the next day had a firm order. When the order was supposed to be ready, I sent an email trying to get a tracking number but was told the shipper would let me know. I looked online to find my order and it was not in the system (too small?) I asked about it once on the phone and again in an email with no reply or concern. I finally received a tracking number from Hoover and the name of the shipping company and it was great from that point on. Jim Loewen

After I ordered the fence panels, I received them within 3-4 days in great condition thanks you your packaging and UPS care in delivery.
