Herald And Review Obituaries Decatur Il Reviews

The staff at Herald and Review made publishing my father's obituary so much easier during an already difficult time. They were compassionate, professional, and walked me through the entire process. The obituary was published exactly as we wanted it, and the online version allowed family from out of state to easily share it. Very grateful for their service.

When we needed to make last-minute changes to my mother's obituary, the team was incredibly accommodating. They stayed late to ensure everything was perfect for the next day's publication. The online memorial page was a nice touch that allowed friends to leave condolences. Highly recommend their services.

The obituary was published as requested, but the customer service could be warmer. Given that families are dealing with grief, a more empathetic approach would be appreciated. The technical aspects were handled well though.

Used their obituary services twice over the years. Always professional and gets the job done right. Appreciate having a local option in Decatur.

While the final obituary was well-formatted and published correctly, I felt rushed during the initial consultation. The representative seemed impatient when I needed time to review the details. For such a sensitive service, I expected more patience and understanding.

The obituary service was handled professionally and the staff was kind during our loss. My only complaint is that the pricing seems quite high compared to other options, especially for families already dealing with funeral expenses. The final product looked nice though and was published promptly.

The Herald and Review team did a wonderful job helping us craft an obituary that truly captured my grandmother's spirit. They offered helpful suggestions for wording and were patient with our multiple revisions. The photo reproduction quality was excellent, and the online version has become a place where family members continue to share memories.

Easy process to submit obituary information. Published on time as promised.

Professional service with fair pricing. Made a difficult task much easier to handle during our time of loss.

From start to finish, the Herald and Review staff treated our family with genuine compassion. They explained all our options clearly, helped us choose the right package for our needs, and even caught a few errors in our original draft. The obituary ran in both print and online exactly as scheduled.

No complaints with the obituary service. Everything was handled as expected.

The obituary was eventually published correctly, but it took longer than initially promised. Had to follow up multiple times to get updates on the status. The staff was apologetic about the delay, but it added stress during an already difficult time.
