Ordered a product online and collected as arranged, with on schedule delivery from their distribution hub to the shop, went to collect it at the counter, so far so good, two employees continued to chat about what they did the previous weekend, completely ignoring me, when one of them eventually and condescendingly asked what I wanted, I showed him my online reciept and said I had come to collect my order, he did'nt reply just walked to a nearby locker, brusquely asked my name, ignorantly saying "What's the name ?", no please or thank you whatsoever, put the item on the counter, turned his back and continued with his all important chat with the other employee which I had so annoyingly and thoughtlessly inturupted. Customer service skills an absolute ZERO. Ignorance skills a full ten out of ten. I have sixteen employees over three shops, If I had seen one of my employees treat a customer in such a disgusting manner he/she would have been sacked on the spot. A lesson to learn here, annoy enough customers, customers go elsewhere, they go elsewhere, no trade, shop closes, employees become unemployed, always remember that basic fact, happy customer footfall indirectly pays the employees wages, and I am one very unhappy customer which Halfords in Gloucester will never see me buying anything from anytime soon.
