Tried to book a service, have to go home book online, then return to store. Purchased a pump (an item they did have on a shelf, that I didn't have to do online) asked to use the discount, they didn't know about it, didn't have to provide evidence I was entitled to a discount, they found a piece of paper to scan and apply a discount. Went home used Live Chat for help, as the website errored when attempting to purchase, just told someone will get back to me Tried to provide constructive feedback, ignored.

What went wrong? Next based 320xR front and rear fitted paid £264.00 for a mobile unit was fitted incorrectly -plugged into OBD instead of hard wire fuse box therefore drained my battery. Yes l had a flat battery on 5 occasions and more.Compliments to the staff at Guiseley for finding the fault and removing the equipment but l had to pay another cost £45 However customer service is nil.The phone to contact for Halfords office is based on South Africa. There are no email addresses for Halfords. Now l wait. Awaiting refund ....? Avoid at your peril.Maybe the nickname is Halfrauds and l suspect so as l have been.Terrible experience.Unsupported customer care.
Ordered online for collection
I ordered online for collection as the store said it had items stock. Went to collect the day after when it said they were ready for collection and out of 9 items I ordered only 5 were ready. Then the order was marked as completed with no way of tracking when the remaining items would be ready. I've been to store 1 week later to collect the remaining 4 items and only 3 items were there so I am still waiting for the last item I have paid for. There is no way I can find out a rough date of when they are ready this is really poor from halfords and if im being honest it's put me off a little bit. The tools them selves have always been quality and still are but I've been to store 3 times and counting. The people behind the tills cant tell me when my last item will be ready for collection meanwhile im just stuck in limbo waiting for my order. Not good enough. Stockton on Tees store.

DHL failed over two dates to deliver . Tried to get through to DHL and keep getting cut off. Tried Halfords customer services , operator keep asking me over and over same questions even when given answers then said to try DHL again. So it appears another once good UK company has been ruined . Now have to go back to card company to get money back .AVOID , DON'T RISK LOSING YOUR MONEY AND TIME ! !
