totally worthless.. waste of time and money and says we hire transcribers and after signing up says we are not hiring transcribers right now .. they use the emails of people for email marketing.. a big scam

Needed a 2.5-hour video captioned in a pinch, and not only did GoTranscript do it within the promised day, but I was able to answer all my last-minute questions with their 24/7 online chat before purchasing. I also appreciate the comment section in the upload as I was able to add a link to resources (the original video, not just the mp3, and the script) to help ensure captioning accuracy.

The transcripts were reasonably priced and fast, but only about 95 % accurate. Some sentences were left out altogether. Had to have done by professional transcriber to use in court.

I appreciate all the work and time that went into this, but the amount of typos/grammatical errors is pretty ridiculous. I can't help but notice the transcriber is not a native English speaker. Also, the speaker's name is often incorrect. I'm finding myself having to go line-by-line to correct all the errors. The point of outsourcing was to not have to take this sort of time.
