Disappointed with Lack of Support and Unethical Guidelines
I was interested in working with GoTranscript as a Somali transcriber. Upon reviewing their guidelines, I noticed that some assignments require including profanity and offensive language. I reached out to their support team multiple times to request projects that are ethical, professional, and free of offensive content. Despite sending clear, polite messages explaining my position, I received no meaningful response. Instead, I received automated replies that did not address my concerns. This lack of communication, combined with guidelines that conflict with personal ethical standards, makes it difficult to trust the platform. I hope GoTranscript improves its support and considers the feedback of applicants who wish to work in a professional and ethical environment.
