Very informative course

Recently completed an SMSTS refresher with Paul Nestor. A brilliant humorous tutor who taught us everything we needed to know.

Recently completed my SMSTS with Darren. Course was easy to book, company has many different options available to suit work etc. Darren was a very good trainer and went through the syllabus thoroughly. I felt fully confident I had the knowledge needed to pass the exam, when it came round. I liked the tasks given to us throughout the course and it helped me to put my new knowledge to use straight away. I would highly recommend this course/tutor.

Did the sssts with slav litwin it was a great experience made the learning easy keeping it upbeat and intresting would highly recomend

Recently have gone through Goldcross to do the SSSTS, im not going to lie i was nervous about it as i do have learning difficulties, so as far as failing went i was ready to accept it LOL. Paul Stott was the instructor and since the word go of signing in i felt as if it wasn't going to be as overwhelming. He is professional at putting the course across, he takes his time and makes sure guys are absorbing all the information possibly needed - And if you weren't sure he would ask you if there was any questions/problems we had with each category we covered Overall it was a fun learning experience and i know where im booking next!

As the owner of a small business and never having had the need to attend a H&S course I had no idea what to expect. If you are going to spend two days of your life that you won't get back, going through one of these courses, I would thoroughly recommend Paul Stott at Goldcross. He made the whole experience light hearted and humourous whilst ensuring that we all learnt exactly what we needed to learn. Its just a shame he doesnt know the difference between lunch and dinner - must be North/South thing!

Paul Stott was very friendly and approachable and made the course material easy to understand and put a personal touch on it with stories and anecdotes from his time in the industry. My only critique is that the power point Gold Cross supply's needs reviewing and updating to suit with the changes of practices and statistics of current years, as the most noticeable signs of old data is the injury and fatality statistics which showed only dates around 2020.

Paul made the course really interesting for everyone,made it a lot easier to take information in👍Needs some more singing lessons tho…

I done SMSTS with them, now I paid to do NEBOSH. Both tutors were grate and very supportive, but the customer service is terrible. Every time I need to ask something is painful, they suppose the information on the website is clear, what is not. Also, they promise 10% discount when you done a course before, what is not truth. I called asking about the discount, and they say if is on the website is not discount, but you cannot know the available if is not at the website. And final, I booked a course I understand by the website will be 4 days, and were 2 weeks, if I new, I'll book on the weekends. Their answer was: is clearly what you booked. Obviously, is clear for you, if I need to ask help wasn't clear for me. If you pay, they will not give your money back or give you support if you need. As I said on my email, clearly for you. When you put 9 days with the dates is clear, when you put Mon - Fri 17th - 21st March & 31st March - 03rd April 2025 is not clear. I had one year NEBOSH before, nothing like that. My numerous calls and emails was never given a satisfactory answer. Specially when I received tones of emails from someone called Linda and nobody knows who is she. I asked to be updated when Andrew will give the course and nobody bother. And about the discount is not real, if you don't have the date.

Just completed an SMSTS Course over 3 weekends. Andrew Hallett is a great instructor a real credit to the company!
