⚠️ Beware Before Subscribing ⚠️
I signed up for this service three years ago and believed I had canceled it shortly after. I haven’t used it since, assuming my cancellation was successful. Recently, I was surprised to see a charge on my credit card for a subscription I never intended to keep.
I disputed the charge with my bank and contacted the company. I also emailed them to explain that I had never authorized an automatic yearly renewal. Unfortunately, I received no response to my email. When I called, I was told that by signing up originally, I agreed to an automatic subscription, and they had been sending renewal notices via email.
I never authorize automatic renewals, it is just my nature. Apparently, they hid this in some small bond disclaimer so people keep paying and income keeps coming. However, those emails went directly to my junk folder, so I never saw them.
It’s very frustrating to be charged for a service I haven’t used in years and thought I had canceled. Please be cautious—this service renews automatically each year, even if you don’t use it, and communication can easily be missed.
