Dont listen to sales man he lies!!!!

I had my boiler fitted 2 years ago and all been fine up until recently. It was only when my thermostat stopped working and telling the boiler what to do i realised what an error i had made. I had been informed by the sales man that warranty was 10 years, that it was interest free loan and service was included. I also had issue with leaking radiator which i was told would be fixed too. When they ring you to confirm details of installation and warranty etc listen carefully and walk away. It was a hard sell and i wish i had cancelled then. Overpriced and hard sell techniques used. Yes i should of walked away then and kick myself for not doing. PLEASE BE WARNED AND DONT TAKE THE SALES MAN AS SPEAKING THE TRUTH AS HE REALLY DOESNT!!!

avoid at all costs!

In July 2022 I recieved a leaflet through the post where this company offered a boiler on a government backed scheme, when they came to discuss it, right at the end told me I’m not eligible for the government scheme and gave me a quote, as I needed the boiler (old one was condemned) I reluctantly agreed to pay, I wasn’t made aware that the agreement was an interest first agreement! Then when the engineer installed it I started having issues, we had very heavy rainfall and water was coming in through the flue and in flooding the boiler and kitchen, the same engineer came back out and “fixed” the issue only for it to happen again, we requested a different engineer to come and have a look, when they looked into it we found that the original guy had filled the gap with loose pieces of brick then a thin layer of cement, and the cement hadn’t dried before the rainfall, the new guy did a much better job of it, the inside of the kitchen wall was left in a bad state but at that point we just wanted nothing more to do with the company! I asked for compensation at the time and was refused as they felt the service provided was sufficient! Now 2 years later I discovered the amount I owe is WAY more than what the retail value of the boiler and labour and to avoid nearly £1500 in interest I would need to pay £4100 to clear the finance! AVOID at all costs, rip off merchants!

Great service Very clean and talked…New Gas Fast CombiBoiler

Great service Very clean and talked through all that was being done . We asked if he could move some pipes to a better location for us and the fitter was accomadating . Would recomend Gas Fast to anybody who wants a new boiler.

CON FREE BOILER UPGRADE via "Energy Support Hub"?

They cold called me via so called "Energy Support Hub". Initially it sounds like a free boiler upgrade, but of course it isn't!!!!! They tell you the cost will be taken from the savings on your gas bill, AND, any excess will be given to YOU !!!!! After asking them several times, unsuccessfully, for the actual cost of the boiler I eventually was told they start from £4000. Hell nobody should be paying that much for a GAS boiler these days. They are being phased out in new builds after 2025. These are people trying to take advantage of our energy price fears. BE SCARED do not let them come to your home and con you into a "deal" !!!!!!!!!

Order number 14272 The installation was trouble free they arrived when they said they would, communication was fabulous and the installer professional and polite. The price was competitive and they offered a finance option too. I would definitely recommend GasFast.

Excellent all round!

Sales man was fantastic, explained everything really well. Super fast getting the job done - if I hadn't signed the deal so late in the evening it would have been the following day. Fitter was excellent, no mess, no fuss.

Our old boiler was around 20 years old…

Our old boiler was around 20 years old when we decided to upgrade. This boiler is fantastic, heat is instant and hot water on tap. The smart meter is a fantastic new addition to any house and very easy to use.

Initial assessment 9/1/23 and boiler…

Initial assessment 9/1/23 and boiler fitted 10/1/23 which was all very smooth. The engineer kept us fully updated with what he was doing. Even offered to mop my floor as it had been pouring down all day. The installation was very slick and completed in time stated. Follow up phone calls were much appreciated. Thank you Mitchell (engineer) and Gas Fast.

A surprisingly pleasant experience.

Not only were we made aware clearly in advance what the costs and benefits of the installation would be, but we were told engineer arrival times etc. By far the most impressive element of the operation was the engineer himself. Ashley was polite, personable and totally competent, and nothing was too much trouble. Telephone calls were always efficient and professional- no unnecessary waiting for an answer. Well done and thank you to all at Gas Fast.
