Gas-Elec were fast to respond to my query, and showed dedication to resolving my problem. Special mention to Phil Chadwick, whose communication skills stood up among similar companies I have been in contact with.

Gary McGowan came out to service the boiler and complete a Gas Safety certificate. He was punctual, friendly and helpful! I would thoroughly recommend Gas Elec based on my visit from Gary.

We had a major problem with our electrics. The company sent Paul the electrician. Really a first rate engineer who obviously knew his stuff. Was not a fault that was easy to find. Quick and efficient. Paul was a credit to the company.

Decent guys who were in and done quickly. Tidied up after themselves and made sure the aniamls in my flat weren't too distressed by their noise and tools.

We had some boiler challenges recently and the gas elec guys were superb. Denis in particular has been fantastic. Always on time and provides a full professional service while being really friendly.

Marcus was very professional and caring about the general maintenance not only of the boiler but also the radiators, giving simple advices that work effectively. Definitely recommended.

The gas engineer was brilliant he called on arrival. He showed me what had been done and explained everything. He was very pleasant and knowledgeable. He was well mannered and polite he did a thorough job.

I brought a house and moved in in late november. In September 2023 the Gas-elec group did a 'survey' of the property for the gas and electric saftey. The report was poor, missed photos and this was after them delaying the survey. I would not be writing this but i have been having some work done. And have found out that the bathroom wiring was melted! This should have been picked up in the report and it is a very real fire risk! This company is doing a poor job

The engineer servicing my gas fire, left it in an unsafe condition. Not sealing the connection pipe correctly, broke one of the parts and coals, not sealing glass correctly and mislaying some of the trim. Resulting in me having to purchase a new fire. As this happened earlier in 2023 I only noticed these faults when I came to use the fire and luckily sensed something was wrong and called out a local gas engineer who immediately disconnected the fire.Due to the delay Gas-elec not taking any responsibility. I have now found out there was a cable behind the fire which the original engineer would have been obliged to tell me as it is not safe practice

The engineer did a professional inspection of the boiler

The engineer, Marcus Turner, arrived promptly, having given me a call half an hour earlier to let me know he was on his way. He was here to do a gas safety check and was very friendly and professional and also gave me some helpful tips to run my boiler more efficiently. Highly recommended.

As i opened the front door i was greeted by an amazing huge smile and a very friendly older gentleman. I use the age as i though i has opened the front door to gather Christmas. He had previously called me which i was unable to answer due to surgery a year ago as i had to have my whole voicebox removed due to cancer so i can not talk. Marcus turner was very sympathetic but didn’t make it an issue Abbas was amazing at reading my lips and making sure he was concentrating on me when i replied and that is very important to me as in any conversations and considering y dad was here Marcus made sure that he asked me questions and concentrated on watching me for replies and didn’t make the fact i couldn’t talk an issue. He was very professional and due to my medical conditions doing like anyone in the house but i would have him return as he’s didn’t make me feel awkward or any different to another customer he visitors. What s truly lovely professional man and a credit to the company. Every company needs a Marcus Turner and a lot of people could learn a lot but his experience professionalism and expertise in both the job and customer handling. Merry Christmas to you all x🎅🏼x
