I keep receiving unsolicited marketing emails from Home Service Reports. I emailed their privacy email address to ascertain where they obtained my details from. No response was received. There is no obvious phone number on their website. Home Service Reports is part of the gas-elec Group - I have been on hold to them trying to sort this but no one answers the phone. Useless. Stay well clear.

The engineer that came today (Marcus Turner) was very professional friendly informant and helpful. A pleasure to have our boiler serviced by such a nice person

Excellent, polite, fast working, efficient gas engineers carried out total refit of my old property with new boiler and radiators. Worked to a set schedule with high standards. Delighted with completed work.

It was a good experience as Mike informed me about what the visit will entail at the start. He was able to identify issues on the Kitchen lamps that have persisted for 2.5 years and very kindly included this in the inspection report. It was a very pleasant experience. Quick and easy, very simple and no hassle made at all. Marcus Turner was amazing. He described the servicing so well and made me understand everything. He is a lovely man with fantastic customer service. Cannot be more happier with him and his service. I hope I have Marcus next year!!

I had Kevin Crockford come out to perform an electrical safety, and he was friendly, helped me with an issue I was having with a light, and was incredibly useful. Would highly recommend!

They were helpful and approachable, worked together with my to find the best date that suited me, and the engineer, Mike Coyne that carried the EICR was very nice, proffesional and knowledgeable. He was punctual, tidy, respectful of our home and did the job great.

The Engineer was polite and helpful , did his service and answered my question. Mr Crockford is a credit to his company

Workman arrived on time,very hard working,explained everything that was involved in the ongoing work,very cheerful,clean and tidy person,removed all rubbish after work finished. Highly recommended

Gary McGowan was extremely professional and explained everything perfectly. He bought to light an issue with our boiler and he was a genuinely nice guy to have in the house, polite and trustworthy. He also pointed out other work which has not been done in the past which will now be done.

Extremely expensive, £75 per hour +VAT for an electrician. It would be cheaper to hire a NASA trained astronaut than this company to do any work. Look around and avoid if you can.

After my previous review Gas-Elec were in contact straight away to rectify the situation. They could not have been more helpful and understanding and sent another engineer out immediately. He was very thorough and explained what he was doing, and the outcomes. This has restored my faith in that there are decent companies around, and that some of them read the reviews and act upon them.

We have recently moved into a rental property and the Estate Agent scheduled a Boiler Service. Chap turned up a little early, which was fine, was very knowledgeable and friendly, over-shoes on, all clean and tidy.

Marcus was absolutely lovely, gas inspection was really quick & simple.

Initially skeptical of working with this company because of the two or three most recent reviews on here, but I bit the bullet and went with them anyway because the company's website made it absolutely clear what they offered. I had a Homebuyers Report and a EICR done and both of my engineers (Don and Michael) were absolutely brilliant. Friendly, polite, answered any questions I had and weren't rushing to finish the job early. I also had a good experience with the customer service team throughout the booking process. They are easily contactable and will try their best to assist with any problems that arise, in a fair and sensible manner.

The gas engineer carried out a boiler service within my property, when he identified a problem he explained what it was and went to great lengths to order the part and remedy the situation within a couple of days. He turned what could have been a sressful time with my tenant into a minor inconvenience and I would certainly recomend gas-elec.

Gary McGowan called today to carry the gas safety check. He comes every year always polite and informed us when he is coming. Definitely recommend.

Gary (Senior Engineer) attended my flat today to fix an issue with my boiler. Gary has atteded the flat on many occasions to carry out gas saftey inspectations and maintence jobs over the past few years. As always, he was polite, efficient, timely and kept me informed throughout. Couldn't recommend him enough as an engineer and the company he works for. Excellent customer service!

Crappy/sloppy work...joke of a company. Wouldnt use them,even if you paid me....
