Happy, smiling Kieran arrived on time & straightaway start to change the under guarantee push-plug in the cloakroom sink. It didn't take very long, and the replacement looks good! He also put the toilet seat lid back on that my Granddaughter had managed to 'separate', without me asking! So an excellent result, & definitely service with a smile! 😊

Could not get our heating to start. Engineer was at our door within thirty minutes.

Friendly and reliable staff. We had a Quooker hot/cold water tap fitted, Clear instructions of how to use were given and not just handed the manual. Efficient staff from original consultation to the fitting. Would definitely recommend Gair and if needed will not hesitate to use again.

I cannot fault Gair Gas on their service. Always happy to attend, even on small jobs, as mine was. Quick response. The engineers are always very helpful in answering your questions to help you understand your equipment.

I incorrectly thought I could change a defective light switch. This proved substantially more complicated than I had hoped. I contacted Gair who now offer electrical services. Tom came out and fitted in total 7 new switches. He was on time, polite, tidy and extremely competent. This is an excellent service provided by a local company and I highly recommend Gair for any electrical issues you may have in your home.

I contacted Gair following a recommendation and they responded quickly. They managed to install a new boiler very quickly and I was impressed with the quick response. Very happy with the service and I will continue to use them.

Zack arrived in good time. He got on with the job of replacing our bathroom light with an LED light with shade. Zack left our house tidy and made sure l was happy with the new light.

Having had the problem diagnosed and part ordered at the end of last week, Isaac and his colleague came to fit the new programmer today. They worked together efficiently and were very good about teaching me how to use the new programmer. They cleaned up perfectly when they finished and were easy to have around … friendly and very personable. Thank you! The communication from the office was excellent too!

Our boiler failed to start and a morning call to Gair Home Services had a very helpful and reassuring response, promising a visit from an engineer within 24 hours. In fact an engineer came later that morning and by early afternoon our boiler was up and running again. This prompt and professional service reflects our experience of Gair over many years and they are a company which we thoroughly recommend.

From getting a quote which we accepted to getting the new combi boiler installed, Gair Home Services were excellent. They listened to what we were looking for and explained everything that needed to be done, everything was confirmed in writing and customer service could not be faulted. Sam and Tyler the two engineers who changed our combi boiler were both great. Friendly and polite and cleared up after the job was finished, Showed us all the controls, and how to set them up. Told us any problems we could phone for help/advice. Would highly recommend the company.

Most knowledgeable and competent gas engineer carried out the service and gave advice on how the controls should be properly adjusted. Identified that one thermostat required new batteries, and checked the settings on the remaining controls.

Really impressed with Gair Gas and 5* deserved! Moved into a new flat to find the boiler wasn't working and would need a replacement. Andy, who was lovely, arrived promptly, gave me a very competitive quote and within a week the boiler has been replaced. I felt very confident in their employees and everyone I spoke to was really friendly. I'll be staying with them for the future!

Gair Home Services recently installed a new air source heat pump for us. It was a very easy process and we got exactly what we were looking for! Andy made sure we had looked at all of our options before going ahead and also installed some new radiators for us. We will definitely be using Gair again in the future when we get our underfloor heating installed. Thank you!

Our boiler service was done promptly and efficiently, however the Hive thermostat lost connection to the controller during the service. I only noticed this the next morning when we had no hot water. I was so pleased that Gair Gas arranged the technician to re-visit us as soon as possible that day and he reset the controllers to get them to communicate with the Hive thermostat again. Those thermostats seem to have many modes of failure.

Andy arrived early - no waiting around :) He worked, quietly and diligently. We soon had a working, serviced boiler once again. He proffered good advice on replacing old radiators, which we will follow in the spring. He was friendly and professional. Excellent.

The lad that serviced the boiler was extremely tidy, quiet and polite. He was so quiet and the boiler is in the old airing cupboard in the bedroom I thought he had gone to sleep on the bed! I went up to find him quietly beavering away. All in all well pleased with the job done. I hope we won’t see him for 12 month's.
